    You're right, I spoke too soon. It's AM alright. I'm too used to the AM kits I see on this forum that usually look pretty good that I confused this less than perfect AM with a bad FX.

    Midnight blue is "deprecated". It was common in the older days but since it has been established that french blue is a better fit.

    It does indeed look like darmans holsters are on the long side. I would recommend making the bicep more slim for a less puffy look. Your last picture makes it quite clear that there's a lot of space in between your arm and the armour.

    Well, heavy is kind of obvious, but are you happy with it? How is the quality and does it feel like it's worth the cost and shipping?

    If you only need the costume for the party I would look for a place to rent it for the evening instead of spending 700+ dollars on buying it, since the rubies costume is pure crap compared to what we deal with on this forum. That saves you the money to get a real armour later on to join the legion with.

    Do what you want, just do it nicely. You can also always try practising on filling holes on scrap plastic if you want to go that route.

    My first statement is true though. I would not approve of that. But not for reasons like the size of the shim or his decision to use one big shim but for riveting it on both sides of the ab.
