  1. Original. But that's just the texture. It would make sense to use the same 3D model as the regular TK helmet and body.
  2. Yes, the sandtrooper helmet is a scanned genuine ANH sandtrooper helmet from the archive.
  3. You can't. You might want AM2 instead then. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  4. False. They have ANH in the archives too (we have photos of the suits in the gallery - http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/album/16-lucas-film-archives-joer/).I was at the DICE studio while Battlefront was in alpha version invited by them to review their stormtroopers. But LFL wanted them to scan the ROTJ suit as that is "the ideal stormtrooper" in how they want them to look, so that's what they did. It was the same for previous video games too.
  5. It's what I use with my rom/fx.
  6. -----------
  7. Don't ever watch dubbed movies. Just don't. Life is too short for that kind of torture!
  8. I think it's way better than EP 7.
  9. Or just don't pull the belt as tight. It doesn't need to be tight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. You may need to adjust some strapping. Some might be too tight and thus pulling your ab outwards.
  11. Pretty much everything is different on the RO TK.
  12. If the images are true on trooperbay, what he's selling IS a hyperfirm. IE they are just reselling the same blaster.
  13. In your dreams anything is for sale. No I don't think such a thing exists yet.
  14. Look at it this way, 501st has only 1 level of entry. Membership. That's L1. If your costume meets L2 or L3 then you're probably also qualified for FISD EIB or Centurion. But from a 501st membership perspective it doesn't matter if you do or don't, as all members are equals.
  15. Some aspects of the on-screen ROTJ will likely never be allowed by the CRL, like missing holsters despite we clearly can see them missing in the move. That is the keep the look unified. Same reason as Mr. Nostripes. But the ROTJ clearly has been out of love for too long, and until recently it seems there were not too many people building the suit for this lack of love to become a problem.
  16. Tell your customers to come here, and better yet, have their GML's come here to so we can set them straight.
  17. This was up on discussion in the staff forum a while ago and I thought we had already fixed the CRL. I guess we're too scared of changing the CRL these days that it never got around to.
  18. Shorten the straps between shoulder bell and shoulder strap.
  19. Yup, that's the way I'd recommend everyone doing the thighs. It's also the original way. Btw, one thing I noticed that surprised me a bit handling the original thighs of RS's suit was that the belt worn must have been very narrow, because I could barely fit a finger inside the loop, and I have very slender fingers!
  20. I've seen some ridiculously complicated strapping systems over the years. Some have had merit for special needs or just "feels luxurious". But most of them were just needlessly complicated without any benefits. More often than not they got in the way instead of helping. On that note I take some issue with the double snaps I saw on the pictures above. Double snaps hinder rotational movement by the straps, and that's not always a good thing. If you use quality snaps one snap is plenty strong enough to hold a few ounces of plastic against gravity.
  21. Why? You haven't even tested it as-is yet. Don't over complicate things.
  22. Well someone on staff will have to do them regardless. Until then we're not going anywhere Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. The issue isn't with the images used for the certificates (we're very happy with them), but with taking the time to make them. I made a script a long time ago that creates the certificates in a few seconds, but it requires logging in on the web server and making each certificate one by one for each request.
  24. Yes, you can trim the bottom of the shins for better fit. It's not uncommon at all.
