  1. I am 177 cm tall and about 55-60 Kg (it varies) heavy, so quite short and slim, and I have no trouble wearing TM. While you are shorter than me, I think you can just take off some from the bottom of the shins and you'll be fine.

  3. That looks just fine to me.
  4. Here's another hero helmet not being worn by Luke or Han.
  5. People buy the unpainted ones to paint themselves, and don't want to pay Karin extra to do it for them. So it's likely a combination of cost saving and control. Plus, they might think it's fun.
  6. Hah! Well, I'm working the night shift and have very little to do tonight.
  7. I would have to disagree with that. When painting white on a dark surface, it's more or less impossible to get it pure white since the darker background easily shines through.
  8. I wholeheartedly recommend hers. She makes both raw latex painted white (like the originals), or cast in white rubber that will never wear or fade. If you want a pristine look, go for the latter version.
  9. His flexible hand guards are too large and too thin to be considered "screen accurate" in my opinion. They are approvable, but not very accurate.

  11. Yes, that's more like it. You can always compare with what we know of the original brand boots: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/album/20-boots-original-brand/
  12. Glue or velcro (I'm betting it varied between different parts of the suit. Like glue for extremities and velcro on the torso). But there's for sure not the same screws and bars as ANH.
  13. Nothing wrong with used shoes if they are quality ones in good shape. The shoe size is easily handled with a conversion chart. How do you think I did it?
  14. See me previous post.
  15. I'm assuming you are from the US, which seem to be pretty starved at good chelsea boots. But they are not that hard to find in Europe. Looking at ebay.co.uk yields you a lot of good pairs. Getting them shipped is another story however. These would work just fine for example. Pity they are size 6 (UK):--------
  16. People might hate me for this, but I would cancel the order and keep looking if I were you. I might not have the power to say definite yes or no to them, but they are sub-par and not in the spirit of centurion in my opinion.
  17. I'm not too sure about the rounded elastic near the bottom. But they might work for basic approval.
  18. TKboots aren't out of business. They just lost their supplier and are looking for a new one. Stop panicking.
  19. There are high-brow hero helmets too. But the trooper you're looking at is Luke, who does indeed wear a hero helmet.
  20. The RS suit is built of parts from different suits. Some TK, some TD.
  21. Send a PM to "troopermaster" and he'll set you up.
  22. No, there is obviously some variation even in real world scenarios. When I was in the Navy, my uniform was not the same size my larger squad mates. That would have been silly. But the size of my backpack was, just like my field gear ammo vest. So were the rank insignia's, and so on. See my point?
  23. Not impossible, and very cool if it was. Good eye!
  24. Personally I wouldn't care if someone trooped with a grappling hook + com with a stunt helmet. A little variety is nice. That being said, not all irregularities should be emulated while trooping.
