  1. Great additional information! Thanks for sharing.
  2. Standard snaps won't matter for centurion. Just get some hand plates from Karin and make sure your blaster is up to snuff and you should be fine for centurion.

  4. Not some that I'm certain would fit the eFX. The ones you link are in the ad used on an ordinary FX helmet which is larger than the eFX but you can try them if you like. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. No problems on my end. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  6. That's an old FX suit you have. And there will need to be several changes, among them are belt replacement and mods to the helmet.
  7. Decent but overpriced and not at all as original as they claim to be. You can get better for less from the makers on our recommended list. If you want all the dirty details you can read more here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19286-the-original/
  8. If you want to make it truly a hero helmet you need bubble lenses.
  9. Having a D-ring is an EIB requirement. Personally I wouldn't care much about the placement of the hengstler. The originals were glued on and all over the place (frequently fell off as well). But for Centurion you will also have to add the charging handle that is missing on your blaster.
  10. Yes. It's old pictures from when RS was just starting up. I think you can still find the pics on their facebook.
  11. Both do kits and finished suits to your preferences. But assembly will cost extra.
  12. The suits themselves might not be much less expensive, but the quality and accuracy are so many levels above what you get elsewhere, which is what makes jedi robe a rip off.
  13. It's on the 501st forum. Search there. It's not to be linked publicly.
  14. To be fair though, does "borderline okey" sound like it qualifies for a quality award? I found your quote a little amusing so I'm poking fun at it, but don't take it seriously.
  15. I think I would go for #25 Matt blue if I would paint a new helmet or redo my stripes.
  16. French blue is the most commonly used paint, but others have been used successfully. TM has used Mediterranean blue before, but I think switched to flat blue later. There is no "proof" that French blue is the correct paint, just that it is a good match, compared to other paints, most of which are too dark.
  17. Add more pointyness to the frown. Yours is kind of cut off. You would also benefit from slimming down the ears a bit. But overall, a very nice job on the helmet. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/album/36-helmet-frown-a-new-hope-stunt/
  18. You should still consider moving the knee belt to line up with the thigh properly and place the rivets in the top corners. ROTJ knee belts are the same as any other, except for using pop rivets instead of cap.
  19. Like Cantina said, better to go with RS or TM. More bang for the buck. Plus, SDS are not allowed to sell to US residents because of a lost lawsuit and unpaid damages.
  20. You should change the last grey teeth to pointy. It should be pointy at both ends and not squared off like yours. I did the same mistake when I was new, but you would want to fix it. It'll only take a minute or so. Take a look here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/image/2247-anhstuntfrown2/
  21. Those are special edition suits, and you can find more pictures of them here: http://starwarshelmets.com/original-TOUR-stormtrooper-armor-helmets.htm
  22. No, E-6000 is not supposed to smell that long. It does smell for a couple of hours while it's curing, but are you sure it's the glue and not the plastic that is venting fumes?
  23. No problem. You know, having a build thread and posting the images to the thread helps other people keep up with your build and can interrupt you if they see something strange, helping you fix it before it's "too late".
  24. If you must have the raised areas of the limbs wider than normal, adjust the width of your cover strips to match. Using narrower cover strips than the area they are supposed to cover looks really poor.
