  1. Smitty's list of things he thinks Gino contributes to the hobby: 1. A good amount of knowlege 2. a seasoned eye 3. much much drama 4. the most unadulterated TK you can find While I think Gino has some issues regarding human interraction, I respect his opinions and expertise. I am not happy that he is gone.
  2. That is a totally awesome find Dan! Youre right it does sound much better than the Halloween voice changer! :duim:
  3. An attack, yeah maybe. But look at it in this light. Up until today, I always just assumed TM's work was an amazing original sculpt. The pics shown tonight raises alot of eyebrows. I still refuse to say that Paul is a recaster, because all I have seen is pics and I have never held one of his buckets in my hands. If he did recast a helmet for his molds, I think that we all should be privvy to that information just for honesty's sake. Will I think less of Paul if it turns out that he recasted? No, in my eyes Paul will remain a provider of fine TK armor, Much like my opinion of CAP, who cranks out some mighty fine buckets I might add. Does CAP's buckets rival Gino's? Not a chance in hell. Gino has the least adulterated bucket available and is worth every penny you'd pay for it. Would I troop in a Gino bucket? Once again not a chance in hell. But I would slap on a TM or a CAP any day of the week and greet the fans. Different buckets, different uses.
  4. Isnt it amazing how much Admiral Akbar looks like Homer Simpson. The resemblance is just uncanny lol.
  5. Oh this is easy! Top Row Left to Right Eskimo Joe, Homer Simpson, and Ulysses S.Grant Bottom Row Left to right Toad from Super Mario Bros, Justin Timberlake, Capt Stooby from the Love Boat, Ned Flanders in Arctic gear, and Kane from Alien Better hold on to the Kane figure, they put the face sucker on the back of his head by mistake.
  6. I wear cotton spandex top and bottom. Nice and breezy in the summer and you can wear thermals underneath in the winter. Last weekend at the GSU game I went out to the truck for a smoke and it was snowing and I wasnt cold at all. I prolly have $30 wrapped up in my undersuit
  7. That pic shows the bump clear as day if you ask me. Regardless of Gino's "arrogance" I'm pretty convinced he knows what he's talking about. Rarely have i seen him wrong about anything since I came to the community. Arrogant yes, knowlegeable about movie props yes also.
  8. Well I for one would really hate to hear that TM had recasted a helmet, Ive taken a good look at that RPF thread and some of the pictures are very unsettling.
  9. Must be a big and cluttered basement if you ask me. I would love to have a basement that spontaneously poops TK helmets.
  10. Grabs beer and popcorn.
  11. yes, the extra T tracks are required to make a Hasbro Elite-able.
  12. Looks great! Maybe consider removing just a lil more flashing from around the eye that has the hump. Definitely did a great job on it tho! Beautiful!
  13. We all had to start somewhere! Just goes to show, everybody loves Starwars deep down inside...no matter how chintzy the costumes are. Thanks for sharing!
  14. I wouldnt piss in a fiberglass helmet. Thats not Matt.
  15. I dremeled out the compartment from the toy casing and used it like a battery pack.
  16. TE2 hands down best helmet out there!
  17. Cant say I envy you Steve. I did 8 years on the Navy and I am one happy civilian these days. Best advice I can give you, the smaller the ship the better!
  18. Dude, you are one inch shorter than me and we weigh the exact same weight. You want AP, TE2 or GF or TE. Those kits will fit you like a glove. I wear GF. Here's a pic. -------------
  19. Congrats Doug! Job well done!
  20. I used to have a bumpy cap TE but I cant remember if it had the forehead chips in it or not. I cant tell from the old pics of mine. Please do ask Matt.
  21. Whats up with those pics? I dont recognize the back grounds from anything in the movies or the old guy in the second photo. Awesome find!
  22. Double Post for the win! ESB conversion is looking great bro!
  23. FOR THE RECORD I have already verified this with TE2 himself. The forehead chips were present in the TE2 molds when they were recieved by TE2. Thus the TE helmet CAP originally recasted was from the TE2 molds before the molds became the property of TE2. When my helmets arrived in the mail and I saw the chips in the forehead I contacted TE2 immediately. So fear not, CAP has not recasted again. And as a matter of fact, the last CAP helmet I got did not have the chips and you can see where his molds have been repaired to get rid of the forehead chips. Hope this info helps
