Dont know if its true or not but I had heard the original intent was to have wookies instead of Ewoks. If you ask me I think the imperial troops got off easy despite getting defeated. It could have been much worse, arms pulled out of sockets AND defeat.

As far as gloss white paint goes, accept none other than Rustoleum High Performance Enamel. For painting the black and grey parts of the helmets, I use Rustoleum Gloss Black (comes in a quarter pint can) and Testor's Grey 1138. Don't ever use Krylon Fusion Gloss white, it totally sucks.

Ive seen a Hyperfirm MG-32 and I was totally impressed with the quality. And I have seen hyperfirm E-11's that looked like poop. Im a firm believer in building your own, but MakerofThings produces a quality resin cast kit for a great price. Stomper makes an awesome E-11 as well.

Well if TE is involved you can up the quality expectations a couple of notches , let's just hope someone else is handling customer service

Theres a much better alternative by going with Stomper Hovi's loaded with Super Trooper speakers. I think TKduouno also has a contact for really good speakers too. and just for the record...triktoys, lol.

Neither of them are TE2's The second one might be a TE. The first one looks really thin. The second one looks like the plastic might be split under the left side of the chin as you would be wearing it. I dunno. Neither auction gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Mucho thanks to the garrisonmate that made that 501st Mixer shout out possible! The TE2 without a doubt was one of the best looking buckets at the Con. Only one rivaled it and it was an AP hero helmet. I snagged the guy as he was going into the Hilton and dissected his armor with a 360 degree inspection. The guy was maybe 2 steps away from an Elite and was not a member of the FISD, I was astounded. Great work unnamed trooper! About that soldier you saw without his Imperial TE2 bucket: I wore my beret to the Mixer so I didnt have to drink beer thru a straw.

Sorry it took so long to respond to this but I have been in a 4 day weekend of debauchery in Atlanta. I prefer the bumpy cap over a smoothe one. As a matter of fact, when I bondo'd the forehead chips I did a shallow fill so that even tho its glossy you can still identify the chips if you are looking for them.

Thats 100% true FX armor can look outstanding and damn near screen accurate if you do the proper mods. Every one of those mods has a thread right here. Proper tapering of the thighs, ab buttons, and my favorite, trimming and return edging the bottom of the chest plate.

I dont think I would change them either. If they arent elite standard, we should have some kinda provision that protects the helmet in a situation like this. I'm not a smart man but I'm pretty sure the goal of becoming Elite should not entail defacing a helmet like that.

Soooo Sexy! Who does your blasters? Those are GF faucet tip hovis? Is that Eliteable? Is Eliteable a word? Everything else looks spot on. Not that it affects eliteableness but you and I both need new boots. Looks like we have the same soft shelled wrinkly boots. I tried like hell last week to nail a pair of Mark Chengs in just my size on Ebay. Also I think you should take a little off the end of the belt; let it terminate at the edge of the TD. We gotta get some pics at D*C!
