Awesome looking build!!! I cant see anything holding you up from Elite, Great Job!!! The only tweak I would dare suggest (and it doesnt affect elite status) Raise and trim your back plate just a hair higher so that it meets the top of the kidney plate instead of over hanging the kidney plate. Like this guy NICE FRIKKIN R2 UNIT BTW!!!

locate tupperware TK and get a nice set of headless FX armor.

Speaking of that run, the last of the run is right here on my desk. I havent been able to finish it because some happy person in the shop thought it would be a good idea to burn up the motor in the lathe.

Since you're trimming the bottom of the chest why not give that baby a return edge. Thats the best job on a set of FX thighs I have seen in a long time. Honestly tho I tell you what would just set that armor off the hook...replace the FX chest and back with screen accurate versions. Great Looking armor! and nice stealth E-11 Not to mention there is a guy in your town with a set of Follano. He might let you model his chest and back with your armor to see how it would look.

a 20 to 30 watt plain jane soldering iron will suit all your TK needs. You might wanna add a desoldering bulb or braid to your shopping list as well.

Just about every thing you need to know about painting in the world of TKs Blaster painting = Colorplace Flat black 96 cents per can Shiny stuff= Rustoleum high performance enamels $6 a can TK gray hombrol gray or testors 1138 TK Blue = Testors Blue angel blue Make sure you are within your recoat window. Usually less than a few hours. Past that you have to wait for the paint to fully cure before you apply another coat wich usually takes several days. Primer cures within minutes and you dont have to worry about the recoat window. If you paint outside the recoat window you will get "lifting" (the paint will wrinkle up and try to flake off when it dries) Also make sure you do not get to close to what you are painting or you will trap propellants in the surface and it will cause "orange peel" (porous flaws in the surface) ALWAYS read the directions on the can! Welcome to the headache that is know as rattlecan painting

I use almost all velcro in my strapping system but it periodically requires replacement in certain areas. I "suffer" from a hyperactive thyroid and my body normally fluctuates 10 pounds in both directions so the dynamic solution of velcro ensures that I can get a proper fit no matter what I weigh that day.

You'd think they'd post a different pic from time to time of the orphans. Its always the same 3 kids. That just looks like a shady operation. Very nice, how much did that set you back? I was looking at those when I was looking for mirror lens for my TX but I couldnt find them locally to see if they were gonna be dark enuff

Each Elite costume should be represented with a photo. I mean if one of us decides to completely geek out and pull a TK hat trick, I think 3 Elite profiles is but a small price to pay.

Ole, I sent you some lens, how much T track do you need? If you only need 2 strips for a Hasbro conversion I'll send them to you on the house. If you need a whole E-11 kit, it will set you back $15US. Bernard has holsters, and quite nice for the price. They even have the little credit card pocket sewn into them.

I have like $25 bucks wrapped up in my VOX system. Voice changer at Wal mart and a Wireless kit. I'm still fighting feedback with the unit tho. My next move is cradling the mic in dynamat.
