maybe not the case, did FX armor come trimmed 10 years ago? Didnt you say the armor was that old? But then again, 10 years ago, if it wasnt a recast it would prolly have Follano's signature on it somewhere. Whatever the case, its a killer deal on some plastic! Does it have the much sought after old school FX thighs?

Thats a really good looking set of armor. I think removing a little more flashing from the eyes of the helmet will improve the look alot

you should breeze right thru the 501st inspection. Once you have your ID number, you should immediately make your elite request. As long as your butt plate and kidney plate are already separate you should be a shoo in for Elite status too....or vanguard..or tk sharpshooter...or whatever were gonna end up calling it. I just dont understand why politics is everywhere. Awesome job!

Great looking armor! My only recommendation is move the black eleastic straps on the shoulderbells up just a little higher so that the straps arent covering the biceps. The 501st will want you to have 360 degrees of pictures, an action shot and a pic without your helmet on. So you will need some side shots and a back shot. Also it looks like you are almost ready for Elite Status. Look over the the Elite requirements check list and see if you are missing anything.

Sorry to over look the question for so long but it happens. As far as me recommending trimming and returning the bottom edge of the chest plate, It does look absolutely fine the way it is. But he's gone to the trouble of getting fresh shoulder bells and considering SA thighs, so why not bring the chest plate a little closer to SA. I wouldnt trim it all the way across but if youre gonna do it, definitely knock off a little of the bottom corners and give the whole bottom edge about a quarter inch return. Its a really good looking modification when its done. I honestly didnt think it needed an explanation. Correct me if im wrong but it sounds like your having a go at busting my balls, not the first time Ive picked up on that either.

nope the missing hole is where the bayonet clip is supposed to go. The templates do not show the clip so you will have to look at some Sterling pics or some E-11 pics and design it yourself.

I beg to differ with removing the Hasbro blaster from the elite options. Some hasbro blasters can be modded to make quite a convincing E-11. I do however propose that Hasbro requirements include the following in order for Elite Status 1. Correct barrel modifications: 2 T track strips to cover the row of holes and removal of bottom left factory T track and replaced with a row of holes. Removal of the left side crecent greeblie. Possibly also flipping the right side crecent greeblie 180 degrees to make it correct. 2. Existing greeblie requirements for each movie as currently stated by the Elite Standards (hammers, door catch, ESB Alligator clips D-ring) 3. Must have a proper counter for ANH 4. Must have a proper maghousing installed 5. Must have a proper stock installed (functioning or non functioning - just has to have one) *for a ROTJ blaster I think all the T track should be removed and replaced with the proper U-shaped channel such as provided by Stomper* I am 100% up for being more stringent for the Hasbro blasters but not thier elimination.

Thats a sweet looking setup bro! I must have been missing this thread. Before you made youre helmet mods I was gonna tell you how to flatten the bubble lens I sent ya, but on the other hand I think you did a great job converting the bucket to hero! Next thing I would do in your shoes is get a set of 3 bump ABS ears. I believe VT has those on ebay from time to time.
