  3. Nathan, how did you happen to "find" that site?!?! I need bleach for my eyes!!! edit: however, the Green Lantern unitard (in 5x) is on sale for $62.00. Get yours now before the price doubles!
  4. The music should have been "I'm too sexy" by Right Said Fred.
  5. Well, since it was asked...! Yes, visibility is very curtailed. This past summer I would (on a whim or a dare) ride around my small town on my motorcycle while wearing my MRCE. It was fun; to begin with. I live in a touristy town and there were a lot of thumbs up, honks, waves and pictures taken. Then, I found a patch of sand on a corner that I'm sure I would have seen had I not been wearing the bucket. On top of that (hotdogging) I took the corner faster than I needed to do. I ended up wiping out and fracturing my right humerus, scapula and ankle. As much fun as I had, I can tell you I will NEVER again wear a bucket which blocks my vision so much while on a bike. I'm a 25 year motorcycle rider and thought I would be ok...I was wrong. Don't try it guys...(and gals), it's NOT worth it.
  6. I have them too, is there anywhere we can post the files so that those who need them don't have to wait for e-mails from the rest of us? Is there room in the blaster bfg room for a sticky?
  7. Check your local, friendly Menard's for the E6000 (paint dept) and snaps (hardware by the rivets). Joann fabrics will also have the snaps.
  8. I saw this over at the MEPD (slumming, I know). I thought it should be shared with everyone.
  9. It is so! LOL, but we all have our own. I just like giving you grief about it.
  10. The newest award winner! See this thread: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=8568&hl= Great job!
  11. Great troop guys! Tom, wow...fun effects! The first one is great!!!
  12. You may be the only member in Austria, but you're certainly not alone.
  13. "MOM! That weird guy with the wagon wheel in the yard is at it again!" "Just ignore him, son" lol Looks great, Jason.
  14. I own a pair of Caboots and just received my TK Boots. There is NO comparison. If you're looking for boots for trooping, go with the TK. I heard they run a little narrow so I ordered one size up (I have a wide foot..well, both of them really) so I went from a 10 to 11. They fit perfect! No smell like CaBoots, great looking and look like they are constructed very well. I'm not a paid spokesman, just a fan.
  15. Tough gig when the site has too much $$$$. I was denied after trying to donate the same day the donation page was taken down, but that's because I heard with a donation you actually get the answer to everything (42). Great group of supporters for sure!
  16. It would be fun to see Billy's and Brian's very first posts, just for a giggle. Congrats guys!
  17. Oh...I thought it said "heavy trooper". I was going to throw my name in...never mind.
  18. First off, before Panda says it, reverse the overlap on both calfs (kind of a weird pet peeve of Panda's). That way the overlap can't be seen by people standing on the near side. Second, couldn't he try a heat gun to curve those attachment points a little bit?
  19. Hard to tell, but looking at those screen shots, I see the heel is definitely white, so it follows that the entire sole is white too. The shadow of the floor is black, perhaps that is what you are seeing. As far as the Doc Martens; I have to agree with others that they look "clunky". Also, there is the extra seam on the side that isn't on the TK's or Caboots. That being said...I suppose it would depend on your garrison, but what's to stop you from trooping in them? Buy a pair of TK's for approval, but if you really, really like the durability and comfort of the DM's ask if you can use them for trooping.
  20. Personally, I like the lower brow. Others like it higher. I think it's up to you but, WAY TO GO!!!!
