  1. I think it looks like crap and you should be embarrassed to wear it. I, on the other hand, have no such embarrassment. You should send it to me immediately. No? OK, fine! It looks great. I'm sure you've poured over ever detail at the dented helmet, seriously; great job!
  2. Scuze me while I make some popcorn. Carry on.
  3. Holy cow. The paint job looks amazing. Great job!!!!
  4. Yes, that site has been around for years. I just wanted to post so that others who didn't know about it, now would. Vern, thanks for posting your updated plans for free.
  5. I'm sure some will say they are not accurate, but you may be able to get what you need here: PVC Blaster Builders The site also has cool things like binders, droid callers and stands for blasters. Something for everyone and free! Enjoy.
  6. Way to pull out the math skills, Paul! Personally, I like the idea but we would have to get everyone on board.

I doubt it. Though I'm not privy to inside information that would be a dumb marketing move on Mr. Lucas. Mr. Lucas doesn't make dumb marketing moves.
  8. Paul, that just sounds soooo wrong. But, who are we to judge?
  9. That's some shiny looking stuff! Have fun with the build, I'll get some popcorn.
  10. sorry to say, and it's hard to tell from the photo, but the boots look off too. Can you put up a bigger picture?
  11. Honestly, that isn't near what I thought it would cost. I don't think it's that bad at all! Look at it this way, you said there would be 800 sets; 1865/800= 2.33125 per set to just cover cost. Now, you think you might only sell a few hundred sets...ok. 1865/200=9.325 per set to make up for cost. Anything else would be gravy. 33 years later and people still are joining the forum (take THAT Avatar!) to live out the Star Wars fantasy. I don't think the need for t-tracks is going to go away anytime soon. Just my two cents (Oh...and I'll take two sets).
  12. "* Gloves should be rubber chemical gloves rather than leather or leather like" I wonder if these ship to the great white north? Gloves Check it out, you should be able to find something like that on e-bay easy enough.
  13. Way to go Gary, you made it another year!
  14. What type of gloves are you looking for? The accurate rubber (HOT and SWEATY) gloves can be found at any hardware store. Look for chemical gloves. If you're looking for the Nomex flight gloves that most people wear, the bay is okay for those.
  15. I got mine at a dollar store. Yup, gloves for a dollar.
  16. Well, shoot. That was easy. Thanks Rob! Nothing to see here, move along, move along.
  17. While reading different topics I sometimes think; "wow, this is what I need!" but then later to find it I have to search for it again . Of course, I could bookmark the page, but to be honest I have a BOATLOAD of sites bookmarked in my SW file. I thought I could "watch topic", but I don't see a list anywhere to see what topics I'm watching and if there is no new posts, I lose the topic again. Is there a way that a member can "like" a topic so that there is a link directly to that topic? Or, am I just missing something? How do others go back to re-read older but useful posts? Thanks!
  18. Being white and shiny in a bar sucks, something I'll never, ever, ever do again!

  19. My vote would also be for ATA. It's a fun kit to put together and it should fit him pretty darn well.
  20. Best of luck! Three days, you shouldn't have a problem.
  21. Funny, I just got an e-mail from SDS, the new name for the Stormtrooper division is now originalstormtrooper.com
  22. Looks like a great find to me!
  23. I plan on bringing mine, but I'm in a town of 300 people (and everyone knows I'm the Star Wars nut), so I don't think I'll have an issue. In LA? Not sure I'd even want to risk it.
  24. Mike, I was thinking of inviting you over for a BBQ, but...nevermind.
