  1. Hello and welcome to the forum. Currently new CRL's are in lockdown but the legion web team are hard at work, shouldn't be too much longer.

  2. Ouch, a difficult area for sure. You may be able to cut off the damaged area in a strip, add a stiffener behind (which will be the base of the closure) then replace with a strip on top, if that makes sense, I bit like a OTTK side shim. Something like this

  4. Yeah exactly; I'm thinking of something like a shim. I also just had a thought that the KB shins are basically symmetric besides the black oval at the ankle; I might consider actually swapping them so that the messed up area is on the inside of the left shin rather than the outside of the right.

  6. Adding weathering....using acrylics so it`s easily reversable if needs be. I´ll leave it for now and see how I like it.

  8. So I got ABS pasting my thigh seams, but I think I should've gone the thinner seam route - I didn't know how bubbly ABS paste could be - I think I have a density problem - the shade of ABS on some of the areas seem a bit darker - would it be better to paint at this point? I thought polishing might help it, but not really

  10. Side by side of the new build from Walt (your left, unfinished) vs. Jim's original. Definitely more room in the new version, so I'm looking forward to getting it finished and using it in place of the one I submitted my pics with. Taller, wider, and deeper than the original, and should scale with the armor a bit better for me. Tubes are a bit more exaggerated to look more like the show.

  11. Definitely adding this to my "Followed content" to use as a reference for those who need it. Great job, Kalani!

  12. Well medium sized snafu this morning. The top of the calves were too large, and although they were only glued on the outside, I decided if I only brought them in on one side, things would look lopsided, so I needed to pull them apart. I can't remember what glue I used to put them together, but on at least once side I must have used CA glue because the ABS ended up tearing pretty badly. Oops! I cut off the rest and will need to decide how to proceed. I am leaning towards a repair, but I also have the 850 armor, but the pulls are terrible so I think that might annoy me even more. The only risky part about a repair is that the calves are going to need to flex so I'm not sure if that's just asking for trouble.
