  1. lots of great research and work going into this build. Really really awesome!! I just wanted to quickly show you that my modified files do actually have the 10 openings. Here is an angle that you can see that little gap after the last tooth. Here's an orthographic side-by-side of Nico's original and the modded file. You can see that the ends are shorter and don't extend all the way to the edge of the frown. each individual tooth also has an ever so slight outward angle away from the top center and angled slightly back, creating the slight distance between the top of the tooth and the top of the frown that you see in reference. Let me know if for some reason your file set is different, and I'll get you the right file!

  2. Thank you! Yeah, cutting, filling and finishing those so they are rounded off and have lengths that are similar is a lot of work! lol But yeah, the number of teeth, the cheek tubes penetrating into the chin, the indents where the tears and traps lie, and adding alignment/attachment features were my main goals in the mod, everything else was just kind of extra as I had discussions with another R1TK obsessed costumer along the way

  5. BEAUTIFUL work sir. I didn't quite have things lined up with my image above. Very happy to see you have the 10 openings. I need to print your bucket. I sliced my Nico helmet teeth on the inside of the bucket to have about that same edge that you designed yours to use.

  6. If you have a phone with multiple lenses, try the 3x lens. I'm on a Samsung (S24ultra I think) which has 2 wide lenses (.6 and 1.0), a normal lens (3.0x) and a zoom lens (10x). There's also some software zoom settings that don't actually change the lenses (2x, 5x, 30x, and 100x) which can and should be ignored. On an iphone, I think the 5x lens is the right one to use. A Canon Rebel would be fine as long as you're not using a wide angle lens. The focal length is the issue, not the camera. If you put a kit lens at the 18mm setting on your Rebel, you'd have the same issue as your phone. You wanna use something like a 50mm to 85mm fixed lens. On an 18-55 kit lens (common with many cameras), somewhere around 35mm would be a great focal length.

  13. I’ve thought about this actually and thought about implementing this at SuperCon. When I was in the Air Force working the flight line I would see the pilots getting out of the jets carrying what is called a piddle pack. They would wear a condom connected to a tube that went to the pack located in one of the pockets on their thighs. I checked Amazon and was quite surprised to see they sell them in bulk. Now if I can find a safe way to attach it into my thigh armor. Things that make me go hmmmm. TK22411

  14. You have guessed correctly that I used my phone. I had no idea a phone did that. I have a Canon rebel that I'll use to take photos again. Thanks for the input!

  15. I've had some time to go back and consult references. 9 is indeed correct, and I am not exactly sure how we got 8 as you need an odd number, 7 would have been more understandable! So for this CRL, I have updated the text to 9. For the other R1 based CRLs I will need to make a request to the LMO so will probably only go live as part of the new CRL system.
