  1. New section now open Happy Friday or Saturday where ever you live in this world, We have a new costume coming to FISD, which no doubt will surprise a few, but we are officially the new home for the Imperial Commando's from The Mandalorian. Currently we are building a new section of the forums for this costume which will house build threads and the usual research and discussions that surround costumes. Stay tuned as this should be open over the next couple of days

  3. I still have a little painting left but thought I'd get started on the ears. I've already trimmed a set but the right ear just wasn't working, the left was fine. So, below is where I knew I was going to have some problems because of the space between the two sections so I corrected it on the third photo. As you can see, the left side has a bit of a space but in placing the ear over it, I can definitely work with it. Much better! I got started on trimming the ears and, since this is my second "whack" at it, I'm going very conservative and making only small trim changes. I think I'm on a good "path" here, but any input/advice would be welcomed. (back view) (front view) Now, time for a little bike love....got to get some work done on my single-speed mountain bike to get it back on the trail. (rough being ADHD - projects never end).

  6. They look ok to me, you could try using painters tape to get them together and make a fit test

  7. The TPU/ Framilon/ Shock Cord is what gives the parts flex. The strapping keeps the shoulder bell from flopping around too much, but can also support the bicep if the cordage breaks.
