  1. Hi guys and girls I’m helping my daughter to join the 501st UK GARRISON and I got this armour off a fellow member of the ukg and it had some yellowing (quite a lot) to the armour so looked in to doing the options of sanding down painting, but I haven’t got a time, so I looked on the Internet and looked on the forums and found the Trooperbay do a trooper white Gloop to bring back your whiteness of your armour so I tested a piece on a shoulder bell to see how it went. I was quite happy with it. Then I done the whole armour and I’m very happy with it and so is my daughter will be 18years old in a few days so she will become a member of the UKG. So here is the out come a few people have said that the armour may/will go back to yellowing as it abs. I also purchased a lid from imperial surplus which came yesterday so I knocked it up. Still have to boots to sort out and the blaster [emoji6]but I just may know someone who does them if you know me you’re know hahaha Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

  5. Sad to hear. I will admit, I hate saying no to a submission, but we want accuracy. The hard thing is support for builders outside of detachment. We have some decent folks here that I hope we can really make the garrison even better than ever now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Looking good, Terry! And to address the comment about the paint gap near the two ends of your frown/teeth, yes, there were actually gaps on the screen-used suits. I can't quite tell, but it looks like you may have painted over the grey paint with white (which might be acceptable), whereas most builders would just leave a gap in the paint between the two grey areas. Here are the full images that Mario previously shared crops of, from the FISD Gallery.

  11. Hi Mark, Thank you for sharing this here on FISD! Sure looks shiny and white now, and best of luck for your daughter joining us in the 501st. Make sure she joins in on our newly formed womens forum here called Vaders Valkyries, we would love to have her onboard.

  16. Kia Ora everyone all the way from New Zealand! I have some very exciting news,Yesterday, I made the decision to order a fully commissioned stormtrooper (Stunt ABS ANH) from RS Propmasters. I am so excited and thrilled to finally own Stormtrooper armour, it has been a dream of mine for many years and I am so pleased.I met up with Kevin, Mark, Stuart, Cody and Damien from Outpost 42 of the New Zealand garrison recently at a troop (Funfest 2021) in Auckland, where I was invited to wrangle for them for the whole day as well as being their photographer. Ever since I was young, I would see the garrison at local events and I would dream about joining their ranks. Being able to meet them, talk about our love of star wars and being able to witness firsthand what it was like to be a member of the 501st was such an amazing experience that I will never forget. I finally knew after all of these years for certain that, from that moment on, this was where my heart was. As of right now, I am waiting for the order status to change from processing but I have to remind myself that patience is key (and its the middle of the night in England too). I placed the order on the 17th of Jan, and the commission should take around 6-8 weeks to be complete.I am so thrilled that I will very soon be a Stormtrooper, and finally be able to troop with a community that shares the same values and interests as me. Even though I won't be an "official" 501st member until my 18th birthday on the last day of April, I will still be able to give back to the community with the garrison. Ive now gotta think up an ID in advance, and start getting together some fans, a voice amp and a container too! Please feel free to give me any tips!!!- Georgia Haywood
