ABS paste, sand, polish, and repeat, again and again and again…. Getting closer…4 points

Chestplate strapping is the one true factor. If your chestplate can touch your ABS belt, you're good to go, as Adam said. I personally haven't even needed mobility cuts so far -- even a little bit of space can go a long way. If you can bend your knees and hip joints by 80° as well you've got all the necessary mobility for running, kneeling, sitting or even laying down. Tbh, I've got a row of cracks in my codpiece and a few in my buttplate -- from my Codsnap getting stuck and me pulling too hard. If you're careful when initially sitting down you probably won't have any problems. The Buttplate is bendy and the codpiece gets little to no pressure thanks to the flexible chest strapping, which allows for the abplate to simply be pushed up.3 points

Master @Morgi taught me the ways. Basically the trick is in the chest-to-ab strapping. Make it elastic so that you can get the chest plate to overlap the ab instead of choking you out at the throat and you're most of the way there to sitting. Add some good mobility cuts to the thighs and shins and you're pretty much there.3 points

Looking good, a few tweaks and you should be good to go. Just one thing you should be using a blank background for taking photos, just makes the job a little easier editing your membership photos once you are approved if you have a blank contrasting background. We also ask for a blank background for EIB and Centurion levels, some info here1 point

LOL I’m more impressed that you are able to sit while wearing your armor. What is this wizardry.1 point

Thanks a lot, those should not be a big problem and easy to fix.1 point

(you won't, probably) Thanks for sharing your pre-approval pictures! Your armor looks great, so you shouldn't have too many problems. Now, there's a few things that the German GMO's love to point out during a TK Approval, all of which are an easy fix on your part,: - make sure to tuck your undersuit fabric underneath the shoulderbell. Right now it's bunched up in front of it and obscuring the shape of the armor - lower your right forearm a bit. The position of the forearms should be symmetrical and to get through the Basic Approval easily it helps to have a lesser gap between the forearm and the handguards than between the bicep and the forearm - your thighs should be the same height. The GMO's mainly look for the inner upper return edge for this one, so make sure you have one to tug those into position - and lastly you should keep an eye on your drop boxes. One of them got twisted up on one of the photos. Each of these points can probably be adressed simply by having a friend or family member tug everything into the right position -- or a quick adjustment to the strapping. Now, all of these infos are based on actual feedback by our GMO's, so I'm pretty sure they would point at least one of those out. Otherwise I'd say you're good to go! Good luck with your approval!1 point

Hi Ardeshir, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. Another great build Ardeshir! Bellow we pointed some minor dressing issues that can make you look the very best. Your forearms seems to be touching the hand plates a bit , and we suggest you can get them up an inch approx. to solve it. - Looking at the under suit, it looks very wrinkled in that area, not a big deal and probably noticeable only when under direct light. But we pointed since we can see it The following two items are not indicated into the crl (not yet), but they're details noted in the TLJ blaster reference images and the first one is the the rear sight, in most of the TLJ version a rounded one can be seen, different from the TFA angled version. The second one is the Pic rail screws . References show the Pic rail attached with black screws *************************************************** Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. According to the reference images, your TD has a very noticeable gap between the back armor and the backing plate. Moving down the calves , they seem too big, a lot of gap can be seen between the armor and the leg(pic. 1). This is something we could see in your previous TLJ application(pic. 2), but it seems that in this case, it is a bit more evident... #1 Current app different angle #2 Previous TLJ app Previous TLJ-E app Reference Images Even though a picatinny rail is present, it would be located centered in the right side of the barrel. Easy fix . And that's all Ardeshir. Congratulations for another EIB . !!1 point

Yes it's only a slight indent, part clean up, part possibly thicker material and different type compared to the original stunts as the Heroes were pulled in ABS. I think an easy mod Chris has mentioned he is looking at.1 point

Built a spray booth for airbrushing as it is too cold to do anything outside. There is an inline boost fan and the exhaust goes through an air purifier that has good VOC removal capabilities. In the booth, there is a filter over the exhaust and bright LED lights so my old eyes can see better1 point

TK-84207 reporting! My first 501st costume was a Biker Scout but I eventually grabbed the TK. It was a raw Anovos kit from a squadmate sold to me at cost. (same day shipping! lol) I had some help from fellow TK's fitting but I did most of the trimming. I'm skinny so I took out almost enough to make an entirely separate kit. I was approved earlier this year and already have at least a dozen TK troops under my belt in the TampaBay area of Florida. I've seen some of the merch worn by fellow TKs so that's pretty much the reason why I'm here. I enjoy making videos: https://youtu.be/9tJvVP3vmSc and taking photos:1 point
