  1. Greetings all We have just completed a major update to the Last Jedi Stormtrooper CRL, which included changes in some descriptions, typo era correction, replacement of some images including a new CRL model, so overall we now have a better representation of the differences in this costume vs the TFA version. This means some pieces that were previously shared across those two CRL's but were clearly different and make the TLJ costume stand apart, will no longer be accepted/approvable, across TFA and TLJl, this includes like for like changes with the TLJ Executioner CRL as well. The new TLJ CRL is dual labeled The Last Jedi / The Rise of Skywalker as in most cases they are identical save a new single carry only weapon, the Electro Prod. Most of those upgrades will only affect Centurion level. Only a few minor changes were made to basic level that are very simple and what members have been doing in their builds already. Items that have changed will take effect for anyone who has not yet started a build thread here on FISD. Any of those who currently have an active build thread will have a 3 month grace period to either continue building to the now grandfathered CRL, or may certainly build to the new latest version active as of today. You can certainly direct you GML to this announcement post or myself and our Deployment officers team if they have any questions. This is the same grace period we have always given for anyone currently building a costume where a major upgrade has taken place. Please Note, the grace is for all levels of approval, but you will find the lion share of changes are at Centurion levels. The Deployment office have a copy of the now grandfathered CRL, so please reach out to them if you require a copy. The new Version is now approved and live and can be found under the drop down menu on the "Pages" tab at the top of the forums. I would like to thank everyone who played a part in getting this CRL up to a standard befitting Centurion level and one that we are all very pleased with. With unquestioned loyalty TK11469 (Sly11)

  2. You do need a tab (for higher level approval, which should go through the return edge of the yoke to help your shoulder bell sit aligned with the yoke) which you may not be able to do now BUT I didn't do mine that way, I bent a support using some heat and glued underneath the return edge and ran the elastic underneath too Note the tab and also elastic through the side return edge.

  3. Prepare to pog boys, @CableGuy would be proud of my oxide and diamond white paint up haha. I was lucky to get a free sheet of PP as a sample and lemme say, I know why they used this for stunts. It pulls nice and comes off the mould nicer! And the trimming, dont get me started, it cuts like butter with a knife, no sanding required. Im working on the texture as there is a top secret recipe for it but didnt want to mess up my only 2 pulls I could do today. As you can see tho they came out crisp and noice. Its 1.5mm too! Those of you who want a PP kit message me on here or FB and I will put together a special secret run for you guys shortly. The correct colour will be in soon ish if you wanna wait but the black pp ones wil be cheaper. Getting a pack of 20 sheets tomorrow I think, gonna try whip up a few for comic con this weekend so time is against me but will see how we go! Also need to pull the ears in 1.5mm ABS tomorrow too. And yes I know the ears were on when it was painted originally lol.

  4. You are only allowed to attach so many images, many of us use a free image host like Imgur, upload your images there then copy and paste the link into your post. A how to here

  6. I don't use mobile, there is a section in the how to on using it with mobiles: Use the phone app to upload to Imgur right from your phone (set it to private and you can post them here, but they won't be searchable in their feed, and you don't have to title them). On each image on the Imgur in your Gallery, click it, and copy the BBCode tab *** and paste it into your post. It won't show while writing your post, but will show after you hit "Submit Reply". Super easy. And if people want to see a bigger version, clicking on it takes them to it. ***

  7. For FOTK's you still need some return edges in some places, also depends how the armor fits you and your gaskets. Chest and yoke You will also find return edges are pretty much the same between TFA and TLJ so you could check both galleries for references TFA https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/27-tfa-tk-reference/ TLJ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/14-tlj-tk-reference/

  8. Try using the "direct link" option in Imgur, or if on computer right click on the image, select copy then post into your thread.

  9. Good work so far, but when rough cutting allow a little more room to the line and then clean up down to the final line with sand paper, or files. You don't appear to have gone too much to far but you've creeped over in a few places.

  10. You've pasted them as hyper links (both text and a url to goto), not plain text which the system will convert to show an image. I've fixed them for you.

  11. I just checked Chris’s Thingiverse page and it doesn’t look like he’s posted this one yet. We did make a couple last minute changes, but everything should be set now. I have additional pics available on the Star Wars Blaster Build Group on FB. I’ll check with him and see what he’s doing with the files and then let you know.

  12. ok, I updated my earlier posts and removed the pics and inserted links, but All I see are links rather than the pics. Is this the correct way to display pics?

  13. Aside from what Glen has gone over, an issue that may cause a issue is the position of the TD plate. As per the CRL for Basic approval: "The white control panel raised ribbed section faces the rear.." If your GML does ask you to move it, you may want to consider evening out the clip ends. 15. If you have skinny arms (like me) you can add some foam inside pieces like forearms, biceps, thighs, to help them stay central to your body. Tighter strapping on your biceps a definite. Biceps look like they could come up a little too which will give you a little more room at your elbows. Many can put on all armor pieces, some can't, usually depends on how long your arms are as well as length of the armor pieces. Note drop boxes should align with the end of the plastic belt, many add a drop of E6000 glue to the straps behind the belt to hold them in that position. Depending on how the cod/ butt plate sit you may need to bring the armor upwards a little, Luke's chest overlaps his ab plate at times, just depends on your height and how the armor sits
