  1. Sometimes the D.O.s get a little sidetracked with things (like real life and such) but I can assure you we are always here. If we fail to comment or respond on your build thread it doesn't mean that we don't care, it's just that we haven't had the chance. All are welcome (and encouraged) to contact any one of us at any time with questions or concerns, or you can PM us all at one time here: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/profile/39088-deployment-officer-team/ and we will be more than happy to address your concerns or queries on a personal basis

  2. Slow progress but I'm trying to work on at least something each week. Did some more sanding on parts, Taped up a few parts and sprayed black primer on the underside of the pieces. Thanks to Andrew for reminding me that I should tape up the areas where I'm going to glue. I might spray another coat tonight and then I'm going to let the paint cure for a few days before I put a clear coat on it. Probably going with matte since it's the underside, and really just doesn't need to be bright white. Side note, I'm planning on using magnets to secure the chest, and was thinking about using magnets for the shins as well. I'm trying to decide if it would be worth the effort vs velcro. Velcro is super easy to use, and the industrial strength holds pretty well. Magnets looks like a lot of work and planning, but would be nice to lock in place when kitting up. I might use magnets to secure the spats. Still haven't decided.

  4. Some have separated their cod, not much advantage really, don't find that area is really an issue bending, it's more for the shorter trooper so they can remove some of the height, but should be no issues for basic approval, all must be hidden behind the belt though. Yes the Anovos helmet is a Stunt version, you would need different ears, bubble lenses, also need to fill/push out two teeth as there are only 6 on Hero versions. Hero and Stunt are two version of the same armor. 5. January 24th 2022 Joseph Pedigo (justjoseph63) as many of you can attest, gone over and above, consistently doing something to benefit the detachment. Things that go well outside of his deployment office duties, year upon year. Everything he has done was of his own volition, and done with passion for the benefit of as many members as possible. I find no one more deserving of this, our detachments highest accolade, and feel privileged to be able to bestow it on Joseph for his continued and outstanding efforts over so many years of service. Thank you Joseph, your "How to" guides are legendary, your sales items incredible in detail, and your generosity and loyalty unquestionable. Please join me in congratulating Joseph on this hard earned and well deserved award. With unquestioned loyalty TK11469 "Sly11" DL

  6. Hello! I hope this topic is fine, if not, feel free to remove it. So, whilst I've seen memes pop up every now and then, I haven't seen any actual thread with memes about the FISD. Because I personally love commenting the things in my life in memes, I decided to make a few memes about the FISD, based on things that I've noticed on here so far. Please feel free to share your own memes as well, if you've got any This was something that I had a bit of trouble with in the beginning... Perhaps some of you can relate, haha Don't worry, we appreciate it I've only been on here for a short time, but during that time there've been a lot of armors by Glen. Most impressive! The struggle is real. Now I just need the money and to decide on what I am going to build. "Troopers helping Troopers" really encompasses the spirit of the FISD and I appreciate that very much. No explanation needed Feel free to share some more memes or to take this post down if it's too off-topic for the off-topic area

  11. I use warm soapy water to clean the inside, normally gets pretty sweaty. Auto polish for the outside of the armor, some scratches you just can't get rid off it happens over time. Shoes I try to clean with warm soapy water, also have some shoe whitener for any marks that don't come off. I normally do the inside clean after every troop, the outside and boots normally for higher profile events just to look my best, but generally I can go a few months without a good going over. I haven't had to deal with any yellowing but I know there are some great posts around the forum. You do get marks and stuffs over time but it does add character to your kit, besides the public don't notice and if you watch the movies closely it's really more screen accurate
