Ah great, thanks. I've seen so many clean angle builds, but I'm aiming for a screen accurate look (like these shots) and wasn't sure if the corners would be uncomfortable. Sent from my Imperial Communicator4 points

Straps were changed to approx 2 ", I'll have to check the CRL is accessible to adjust anything else but thank you for the input.1 point

I also laid out my ammo boxes with 1" webbing on the left and 2" elastic on the right. I think this helps show how 1" just doesn't look right...1 point

Great progress Glen, i'm looking forward to seeing this finished and at the rate you are going, that wont be in the too distant future.1 point

Thanks!! trying to get over to Jeff's as often as possible! Hopefully, we can take a weekend and get much more knocked out.1 point

Thought I might do something simple like the knee ammo belt. Trimmed the corners by using the extra pipe piece from the TD build. After a hot water bath. I'll get back to the ammo knee belt when the thighs are complete.1 point

Your attachments are noted to further polish those details that you comment and leave a perfect project. I would like to especially acknowledge the work that the DOs do to bring the armor to the most exact level of similarity to the original armor. That's why I want to mention Mario and Joseph, for all their advice and have taught me to appreciate the details that for any other fan of the saga could go unnoticed. Thanks to ARMOUR FACTORY PROPS for a job well done, which has made it so easy for me to improve the last details. Also thank the magnificent group of troopers that make up the Spanish Garrison, for their support and encouragement to push me to this madness that not so long ago, seemed so unattainable. Especially Chemi, for her support and "closely monitoring" the entire process.

I would say yes, as long as it is comfortable, even try a combination of adjustments. lower the Ab/cod, take a photo and see how it looks. Lower the chest plate slightly, again take a photo and see how it looks. Work out which feels the best, vs looks the best. Don't be too concerned about your helmet not resting on your chest plate, everyone is different shape and size so it's not going to be a decider in any approval.1 point

In the first photo, would lowering front also mean the gap between breastplate and helmet also increases? I also have about a 2" overlap between the breastplate and ab piece could I extend this to only being an inch giving me some space to lower the cod by an inch without affecting the neck, or does the space between the ab buttons and the breastplate become too big? Was thinking of replacing the internal elastic strapping over this join with webbing to decrease the potential stretch as well? or does this become too rigid? In relation to the arms, I'm still to create a hook on the biceps to attach the shoulder strap too, will this help position the biceps more? I can get 2 fingers in between my biceps and the armour and less when flexed. If I have to proceed the not easy option, I know the joins going to be pretty strong as its also got internal cover strips.1 point

I think I am ready to make my first adjustment cut and want to clarify any reduction should be equal so one half isn’t ‘off balance’. In the pic below the closest center mark (short line) is where I believe my edges should be for adding the cover strips. My thought is to cut only 50% of the extra at this point so I can do another fit test. Does that sound about right or any last advice before there is no turning back?1 point

I said it would be converted in a few months. Well, other projects got in the way, and life, too... so it actually took a little over 2 years to complete, but this kit is now officially a Sandtrooper! Time to go find some droids!1 point
