  2. Great pictures! Yeah, it ain't easy being a Heavy! Movement is somewhat limited depending how your set up is. For me I have pouch on pauldron so no limit there for me. I trooped with it on strap a few times before I switched. The pouch limited my arm movement and I didn't like it. As for suiting up. I don't think it can be done solo. I could never get my arms in straps without colorful language. I have a friend hold pack at the right spot and slip arms in easy. Your pretty much there now! A little pre congrats!!

  6. Thanks Brian! This site contains a huge amount of very useful information. That helps a lot for a newbie like me.

  7. Yes, I should have mentioned that the end clip still needed to be sanded down to remove the excess green stuff. Good to see that I took the right approach with the magazine, thanks!

  8. Seems legit. I'll drop off a paper bag of bitcoin in my Deadpool costume. Try not to mistake me for Mr. Reynolds.

  9. Hi Chris, I don't think anything will hold you up for approval but here are some suggestions: Your right shin shows the front cover strip not reaching all the way to the top. This is covered on the left one by the sniper plate, but ideally, you could redo the cover strip on the front. I would suggest making the black outlines of the painted sections of your helmet a little thicker. Yours seem a bit thinner than most. It looks like this is fine in the cheeks, but the traps and the earss could use a second pass of black. You could also add the rank bar on the ear (Centurion detail, but easy to add while you're painting anyway) Your mic tips are pointing in slightly different directions. A little pull is probably sufficient to tweak this. Your canvas belt looks a little wider than what we usually see, but I am assuming it's no wider than 3.25" as per the CRL. Assuming this is the case, it will not be a problem for basic, but if you elect to apply for EIB/Centurion, it may be asked that you replace this. Good luck with your application!

  10. If they weren’t seen in the movies with them then they are not canon to that version of armor.

  11. Not. Hyped. At. All! They shipped the helmet on Thursday or Friday and it just got delivered!!! oO Thats service! Just a little clean up work and then its ready for molding! Remember that I have to add 19% VAT from the beginning of next year for all european customers. If you want to pre order, now is the time! :-D

  16. I like how you've installed the battery inside the magazine housing and accessible with magazine removal...exactly as how I did it, worked great! Dan made excellent points there, end cap clip slope looking a-ok Sent from my SM-G390W using Tapatalk

  17. Hi Phil, the electronics will go into the Hengstler counter. I will put charging electronics behind the end cap, which would interfere with the spring of a real sterling. If you want to use the LED strip for the barrel light effect you would need to replace the inner barrel with a clear acrylic tube. For more info regarding the electronics search for “BlastFX” on Facebook. There’s also a BlastFX builders group (also on Facebook). Hope that helps, Patrick

  18. Thanks! The end cap "slope" and the recess came from Tino's Lucky#Eleven build (see update #09). I also saw it on original sterling end cap pictures. Note that I initially overdid it and it still needs to be sanded down. Here it is with the excess removed: 20181216_214332

  19. You don’t get many costumes that fit straight outta the box but this one requires no tailoring at all. I’m very happy with my purchase, this is spot on accurate. I asked my neighbor to look at it and he said it looks accurate as far as he can tell, he’s blind but a great guy and I trust his opinion. Very pleased with my purchase.
