  1. Howdi folks. Tonight was scope night. Bought a fantastic value set of wood spade bits. 6 piece for under £3. First I started by cutting down the larger lens from my monocular from Tino’s kit. I’ve managed to hollow as the scope, (as many have done previously), and thankfully it worked well. Also removed the resin screw heads and replaced with real ones (again, from Tino’s kit). Until next time. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. You have no idea haha. It's torture I say! It relatively easy? I can handle being looked at like a contortionist hahahah just trying to figure out how to make sure I don't need assistance everytime when I built my Fett kit I hated having to have another person suit me up. Trying to avoid that. Oh there will be lots of BBB and package photos. It's Christmas in October! Jim just said my armor is on the way!

  9. My Spacetrooper made its debut at a local Comic Con last weekend. The magnets held strong, and I am overall happy with the look and comfort. Some things I am going to do to improve things are, add some padding to my back plate to prevent armor bites from the weight of the spacepack, and re-make my current shoulder straps in webbing vs the elastic I have now. That should help with the positioning of the spacepack on my back and lessen the pressure on the return edge of my back plate. It will also help keep my back plate on top of my kidney plate. The weight of the spacepack kept stretching my elastics as you'll see in the pics. Speaking of pics ... Here are some... You can see here that mu back plate has been pulled down and is over my kidney plate.

  10. Ouch that's got to hurt, well at least you know they are safely there for your arrival home :D. I've heard a lot of guys have success with the magnets mod, I myself use elastic and snaps, I can get kitted up myself although it must look a little like a contortionist act for those that are watching Looking forward to seeing those BBB photos soon

  11. Wow. I love how the helmet liner just ties the overall look of the interior so well. it looks professional in a sense. I would very much appreciate a link to the helmet liner.

  13. I was lucky enough to be part of the Escort for Paul Blake (Greedo) and Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar) to their Photo shoot and Panel at Hamilton Comic Con 2017. I'm the TK on the Left side of this picture...

  15. Got overly hyped on the first one. Waiting to see what the reception on this one is. But I agree the only reason I care is to see costume details. Who plays games when there is stuff to be built!

  17. The printer I'm getting has a decently large print bed. I'll still have to cut most of the pieces in order to fit them onto the platform. But superglue and sanding and plastic welding ought to be good for assembly. I'll still have to sand and paint and polish etc. I'll probably have the printer in about a month. In the meantime, I'm playing with the software and gathering sizing measurements and I may be printing some test pieces on the library 3d printer, just to get an idea of how it turns out.
