  2. So, once I got everything glued, I did a bit of a preliminary suit up. Im super aware that there are issues here. The shoulders are not attached to the chest, the thighs are not attached to the abdomen, and the abdomen has yet to be closed up. And, it is hard to see, but I do have my gaskets on. I tailored the leg gaskets that came with the kit to be more form fitting, as they were tight on the thigh, and very loose on the calf. Let me know if anyone sees anything jumping out at them as being egregious: Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking!
  3. Here's some photos of the pieces being glued up with E-6000! Forearms: Calves: Biceps: Thighs: I then began to sand and paint up the holster: Then I added some shims to the back plate in order to bridge the gap between the chest and back: Then slurry: It looks like I put this on thick, however, I did it just about as thin as possible. There are two thin layers here.

  11. We will definitely have that in the CRL, both for armour and weapons. Once I have the Wiki Origin document set up with the layout, those messages will be added in and examples will be posted, so all can see how the CRL will start to look as a finished product.
  12. Glad to see you are still progressing with this.
  13. Looks very much Gold in this screen cap. Also adjusting the brightness and contrast, it stays the same colour as the end cap on his blaster.
  14. Hi John, Congratulations on joining the ranks and it is great to see you will be trying for Expert Infantry and hopefully Centurion. With respect to the helmet, as Glen mentioned, the Level 3 CRL states “Ideally, placement of ears (and screws) should closely follow the rear angle of the trap above them” As this is a Level 3 (centurion) requirement, it would not affect your EIB application at all. As the CRL states "Ideally", we do not reject applications if they are not perfectly aligned and therefore it will not affect EIB or centurion approval References For the thermal detonator, Ideally the screws should be a bit smaller and not as close to the edge of the clip as they are but I would say that it would still pass based on the CRL description.
  15. Dick's Sporting Goods DSG house brand of compression pants and top. They have a phone pouch that hides right behind your thigh armor and are well priced. I own 5 pairs. They have a winter version as well which are nice when it's chilly.

Another vote for a 2 piece compression set. Mine are just cheap ones from Kmart and ALDI. I figure when they’re worn out (armour rubs!) I’ll just chuck them out and it won’t cost much to replace. I also wear a long compression top and compression shorts beneath my officer and scout costumes. I had a one-piece from Xtreme Racing. I found it too thick and honestly uncomfortable. But each to their own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Would say its more gold than white also, the hot toy figures blaster has also a golden detail under the middle ring, that part is also black in some renders
  20. One thing: CRL for the blaster mentions a white grip. Isnt it golden aswell?
