Some rubber trim. More rubber trim. ears they look sweet. I think we better delve deeper i think whats at the bottom of this box is very close. One very new face plate. very special thanks to TM for the all new stunt lid kit in gloss acrylic capped ABS. As always super sharp details fantastic looks that keep improving every version. So in a drawn out over long intro we have the all NEW TM lid.Part two of this thread the making of the kit. I have started the kit by trinning the flash off the face and back,The pictures show how i want the lid to look,what do you think? The High Gloss ABS looks awesome. Tm comes in High gloss capped ABS as standard,i have seen an ABS suit which R2 Dan TK8527 showcased that was not gloss capped. I can´t wait to see you start on him. I just finish my TM sandtrooper, and will take some out door pictures hopefully tomorrow. stukatrooper Posted February 21, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) Hi all,i think i took longer opening the box than finishing the lid which is now ready for trooping.It seems some of you thought it was going to be ESB,but this was never the plan and as it was first posted in the ANH stormtrooper section should have been enough of a clue.Anyway spent the week making the kit which went together very well,the brow rubber was positioned as close as i could to the SFS also the right and left ears,one being a little lower than the other finished with a set of Keiths mic tips..All details are painted exept the tube stripes which are from TK4510.Thanks to Paul for again making a fantastic new lid for my 2010 trooping. I have trimmed the ears down as i always do about 10mm at the top.Loked at all the pictures i have and they all look as these do.The face plate as you look at the lid flares out on the right so maybe thats making them look a little fat.This right side flare is in all the new TM faces i have seen first hand,nothing i have done.
