Tall_Trooper[Staff] Posted January 10, 2025 Report Posted January 10, 2025 Looks good. If you move the button placket a little further down, it will look even better. Good luck! Quote

JBar[TK] Posted January 10, 2025 Report Posted January 10, 2025 I had the exact same issue going for EIB. Here's my before and after: There were two things I did to fix it. First I tried just bending out the metal so that the donut faces outward instead of upward. You very well might be able to get away with just doing this. However for me it made the TD stick out from my belt too far so in the end I removed and cut off around an inch of metal down to the second screw hole. Turns out my metal clip were longer than I needed. I had to re drill a new hole since once was cut off on each piece 3 Quote
TKSpartan[Staff] Posted January 10, 2025 Report Posted January 10, 2025 Hi Rick and thank you for youe IEB submission. One of us will be with you as soon as possible. Mean while , you can go in advance with the TD buttons plate relocation as per the CRL for basic, (JBar's fix advice is a great solution for that) CRL: The white control panel raised ribbed pad faces the rear, with the controls/round washer style detail closest to the right end cap. TKSpartan[Staff] Posted January 10, 2025 Report Posted January 10, 2025 Another Basic Level adjustment we'll need you to make is the Teeth paint . Just remove a little more to match the references. You could use some Non Acetone paint remover and a toothpick to do the job. CRL: "Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area. .." Some references for you. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted January 10, 2025 Report Posted January 10, 2025 Nice work trooper, appears you are missing an action photo, (pretty sure you had one in your folder previously) You may also want to check your detonator measurements, very little room between the end caps and control panel, end caps look a little wide, control panel usually stops in alignment with the screws, reference posted bellow You could also remove a little section of wire on your blaster, it is very bunched up. Recent Expert Infantry application #1087 References Please note these are just suggestions the DO's may or may not require the changes Good luck with your application trooper 1 Quote
TKSpartan[Staff] Posted February 18, 2025 Report Posted February 18, 2025 Hi Rick , and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. You did a great job with the requested fixes trooper, your armor looks really good ! Let's start with your review brother. Looking at your rear armor piece, it looks like perhaps the inner elastic is a little loose making it sticks out. For confort when trooping, You may want to check and make the adjustments. Easy fix.! Reference images Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. CRL L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. In looking at the reference images below, we are asking that you raise it a little to at least cover more of the bottom of the ab-button plate(s). Ideally it should touch (or even overlap a bit) the bottom button(s). One tip is to add a piece of velcro behind the ABS belt to keep it in place. Reference Images CRL: End caps are approximately .78" (20mm)in width. It looks like your TD endcaps are wider than references. This is a Basic level CRL line, so we're asking you to check the measures and trim the TD end caps if necessary to reach level 3. Reference Images And that's all Trooper. Congratulations for reaching the EIB Badge. Well done!! Request your EIB Certificate HERE Quote
