I will be debuting my Captain Enoch at DragonCon in a week. Been working really hard on it with the help of some creators/craftsmen. I will be having some Professional photos done by the official photographer Brian. I will be posting them on my Facebook as well. (Jason Till)

With all due respect, how can you debute a costume for which no CRL has been approved, thus your costume isn’t approved? Just asking as a GML myself.

Let me change my statement then.

 

I will be wearing a Captain Enoch costume I built at DragonCon in a week. I personally have tried very hard to create what I believe to be a really good costume.

No doubt bud, don’t take my message wrong, but we supposedly can’t just wear an unapproved costume to an official troop, so was wondering how that worked as we are on a Legion forum thread. 
Now I understand you are freely wearing an Enoch costume as a Comic Con attendee, I hope you have a blast!!

I honestly believe I have probably one of the better complete Enoch's out there. I was meticulous in the build without (CRL or forum help). I did it all on my own. Im also the one who made the 1st commission from Delta Leather for the belt and Galactic Armory on IG for his one of a kind blaster the week the cardboard cutout came out. I like the character and was trying to accomplish the build by this DragonCon. I joined the 501st in 2007 and have moved several times (not to mention I work on the weekends making Troops difficult). But I still have the spirit of the legion regardless. 

 

If you see me come say Hi. I think you will appreciate my attention to detail. Not PERFECT but really good I promise...

Excited to see the photos, Jason.

 

The Enoch CRL is on a waiting list along with other CRLs for the legion, all waiting to be added to the new CRL platform.

Once the LMO team have completed rebuilding all existing legion CRL's over to that new format, they will be looking at the new to legion CRL's.

Hopefully it's not too much longer, but we will definitely post an update once we have word on a timeframe.

Moparfett and I have some pics of my Captain Enoch. Was contacted by Marcus Napuri (guy who built the screen used Enoch) and he said mine was the best he had ever seen. Made me feel pretty good.

I have an another question? Will this gloves be accepted ?

Helmet seems good, is it gold leafed or colour? 

In person it makes a huge difference. 

I think I used the same gloves, but I removed the three raised lines, cleaned of the sewing holes with leather putty and painted them a more burgundy colour as the fixed stitches were quite visible and I wanted to match the glove color to the kama. 

Best thing is to start a build thread, also just give me a pm if you want and need any extra help!

Helmet looks like it's the vek3D model which is I think is the most common helmet.

 

Reading the etsy listing seems like a casting which isn't bad thing. Though it's gold paint not leaf, which isn't going to stop basic but would be an issue for level 3 and generally just looks nicer if you can. You may also have issues matching the paint and weathering to your suit as you build as you're not painting the whole thing.

Hey, the 501 is already posting new costumes again (finally!) and as it seems that they already post costumes younger than the completed crl here (for example the Siena pilot)

 

I was wondering if there are any problems or difficulties in the process or if there is something to be resolved?

Seems like.

 

But i have some question regarding the Over skirt.

 

1) the CRL states that all panels have red trim. But the 2 back panels dont have it, or in a different color (colour of the skirt itself), right?

2) from the CRL i can only read that the 2 front panels are out of leather of leather-like. What material are the other panels out of?
