  1. Hi, just seen it Won't be able to do it the next days, but hopefully begin of December I'll hurry up as I of course want to get it perfect!
  2. Hello there! Big thanks to everyone who made this CRL happen, it has been a long journey to this point. As to get into the discussion over the red rim I want to get back more than a year where I already brought this up. Due to more things I've overseen that this hasn't been changed in the CRL reading, sorry for that! I should have checked that again, I just got lost in all the many little details of that costume. If this gets to the LMO's could you please add the photographer as well? This has been TK-14469. I hope to see a lot of enoch to come, and if you do so always feel free to ask any questions you have, I'm glad if I can help! Imperial greedings, Alex / TK-22504
  3. Hey, the 501 is already posting new costumes again (finally!) and as it seems that they already post costumes younger than the completed crl here (for example the Siena pilot) I was wondering if there are any problems or difficulties in the process or if there is something to be resolved? Cheers, Alex
  4. Helmet seems good, is it gold leafed or colour? In person it makes a huge difference. I think I used the same gloves, but I removed the three raised lines, cleaned of the sewing holes with leather putty and painted them a more burgundy colour as the fixed stitches were quite visible and I wanted to match the glove color to the kama. Best thing is to start a build thread, also just give me a pm if you want and need any extra help! Another topic: As the new crl page is finally live, is there anything to do to get enoch online?
  5. Any idea how long the maintenance or whatever is going on will take? I looked up at the 501st forum but haven't found anything regarding this topic, could someone tell me what's going on there? Knowing the crl is basically done but not being published due to unknown reasons kind of hurts as I would really like to do official troops in my captain after a lot of time and effort.
  6. Well... Let's handle that part in the "Captain Enoch 80s style CRL" For now they didn't even start filming, think production will start next week
  7. Just a quick update from celebration, no costumes in display at all, bit sad about it but it was predictable.
  8. I'll do if possible too, but as they didn't have any costumes props or so on on display in London I don't have high hopes...
  9. So I spontaniously got to a con and did some new pics with all your suggestions in mind! As far as I can tell there's nothing left to do! (Yes, I already said this one or two times before ) I don't really know why it looks blurry in some places, I can also get the high resolution pictures to everyone via mail. To everyone attending celebration: hope to see all of you soon!
  10. Alright, just updated the remaining single pictures. Sadly it will take a bit longer for the full body shots as I need at least one person that can suit me up correctly and also a good photographer to capture everything in perfection. Hope I can manage to get it done before celebration but it's a tight timeframe at the moment. Never the less I already painted the straps with fabric color to the best possible result:
  11. I remember, kind of like the tank trooper, dealed with a r1tk a long time ago, but wasn't 100% sure But still, we're talking about a piece that's nearly invisible and too bad to see to be sure what's right, so at the moment I would suggest moving on I'll upload the last picture today evening, then we should have everything together we can get to have a final CRL
  12. Looking threw my research resources I can neither deny or confirm what the panel actually is. From a logical perspective I would think they used an R1 TK and just dismissed the tonister, but we won't know for sure until we can get more pictures of that costume. So saying I would go with Yiyo's opinion as we all did the best to get a really good CRL so far and if we get more of Enoch (in which form is unsure so far) updating the CRL should be the way. Also speaking out of experience this part is nearly never visible as the belt mostly covers it while wearing. But for now on I think we are as good as anyhow possible.
  13. Alright, did all the pictures so far, here are the pictures in cutout version, hope the team can figure everything out (matching everything together so it fits the requirements of the crl as it's mostly seperate pictures) Full shot: Picture by TK-14469 Helmet: Neckseal: I reccomend using the ones from the R1TK, haven't managed to get a nicer shot Undersuit: (yep, thats an ugly one but it fits the purpose) Shoulder straps: Shoulder Armor Upper Arm Armor Forearm Armor Hand Plates Gloves Chest Armor / Back Armor Abdomen Armor Over Skirt Belt / Holster Thigh Armor Lower Leg Armor Boots Captain Enoch SE-14 Blaster
  14. Hey folks, I know it has been pretty silent, but I had to do some modifications (then pictures fully suited and more little mods) But I finally got to a point where I am pretty pleased and have taken all your inspirations and thoughts into it, so here we go, hope all of you like it: First one is cutout, quality for the CRL will be better, but I only gonna start with it as soon as I got the go to move on!
  15. I just looked it up again and it really seems like you are right. Even if it's not visible in any scene I can't deny that fact. I think I'll have to start up the printer again to switch sides, seems like I acidentally switched the two sides while post processing, but with so much more going on on this costume I just messed it up by not looking at that. Besides that...anything other you guys can spot? You can see I'm in a bit of a tunnel view at that point... Hang tight, printer is already running again!
  16. Alright, here are some shots from my Captain! I fixed all the previously mentioned points and in my eyes its pretty done! I'd like to hear your opinion if we can move on to get this as a CRL model and the CRL finally done!
  17. Hey, still on that progress, sadly still waiting on getting my shoes fixes by a local shoe maker as I had some problems with them. In other terms I already fixed everything including new handles for the blaster, so it shouldn't take too long anymore as I was already pretty pleased with most of my built. Updates will follow on my build thread as soon as I got more progress. Badly I haven't gotten any pictures of the photo shoots I did back in speyer so all I got are some semi-grade smartphone pictures.
  18. I think it works with fabric as you did, but if it's done with leather it seems to be a bit different Tough thing I have to be sure, I think in the end the combination has to fit the look.
  19. That's the border I'm talking about, the side border parts are a brighter red, back one is exactly the same.
  20. Looking good, but in my eyes we should clarify that the rear border is not the same as on the front and side panels, pretty good to see in the pictures from my last post I'm on vacation this week and will continue on the remaining parts to be done, hope the first pictures from last weekend are coming soon so you can see all of it a bit better as in general everything blended together very good in my eyes.
  21. Okay, then it was just bad reading of mine. As far as I was able to tell it's closed at the front with some kind of buckle as there are holes on the belt (as for example the tie or officer belts from the original trilogy), only wrapped in leather.
  22. Hi Andrew, I'm always happy to help! If you can get informations from set please share them with us, but please keep in mind even they don't always know everything about their costumes. I once talked to a (star wars) costume designer and he was surprised about a few things... Man he designed the thing and I still knew more details about it? So that's why I only go with what's to be seen and proved. One question to the belt as a non native speaker, does "is closed at the rear" mean the closure is on the back side or does it mean the belt is closed at the front and nothing is at the back? Hope we can move on soon. Everything except the kama (and my interpretation of belt part) seems fine to mee!
  23. Here we go, first pictures just came in: As I always said, the weathering is spot-on in my eyes, all in all it's a matter of lighting and a good person behind the camera. I am 100% pleased with what came out of this built. There are minor changes I but nothing big. The changes I want to do: Extending the gloves so they don't slot put this easily. Rubber band on the undershirt so I can fix it to my hand and save myself from constantly pulling it up. Giving the shoes to a shoemaker to get a thinner shaft because it's quite tight with the shin armor Some more push buttons to prevent slipping of some parts while moving. Weathering the shores (totally forgot that, my bad) ? Blaster handles. Neck seal (I used another one as I the other one slipped out too often)
  24. Alright guys, found the perfect shoes at the world famous Oktoberfest the other day! just kidding of corse, big thanks to my friend @Action Jackson for handing me over his spare pair of FO-TK boots Also, have a good look on our sweet SESQ-Merchandise (the lederhosn ?) designed by the fantastic @Laubi I tried my very best to get all I gathered on knowledge of the costume into the CRL thread. All I was able to collect was based all on the screenshots we made ourself or screen caps (but they only have one picture per second, first world problems...). I never ment I am using the Hot toys figure as my reference, but in my eyes it was kind of good to see they also interpreted it the same way I did, as they surely had better pictures or the costume itself to work with. Badly I haven't got he luck to know the production team, so all I collected was from the various sources seen above. Maybe it would also be an option to leave suggestions in terms of material choice out, as long as it has the matching look it has the matching look. What about setting the material choices free to go on lvl 1 and the suggested materials from lvl 2 or higher? I mean gold leaving and cracks are lvl 3, in my eyes painted on gold color destroys the look so much more than the choice of the material as long as it goes with the look also I recolored the gloves as just matting it down didn't quite please me, mixed it to be as close to the kama as possible to keep the overall look the shinier undried part is the mixed color, just need to make good pics of it Also it was quite a struggle to get all details of the gloves and hide the remaining stitches, but as long as you are not looking with a microskope it will stand its look. Don't worry, this is the old color last but not least for now present the probably ugliest undersuit trouser I have ever seen...Its a pair of XXL sweater arms sewn onto a leggins ? not pretty like that, not pretty worn...but as soon as hard parts go on it's perfect! (I know the color looks off, thats the lightening of the shop together with my camera) Tonight we'll keep on with the belt, prepare for minor corrections in the pending CRL here as well from me ?
