Read, read, read, and read some more. Everything about getting a costume together is answered many times over.
runewolf[TK]
hi I'm not made of money and am a diehard starwars fan but lack the skill to produce armor of my own what should I do? YES! Do not be in a hurry to get a suit. Read, read, read and ask questions. Join your local garrison. Attend an event as a squire so you can see suits up close and personal. Then make an informed decision about what you want. Don't get suckered into paying $1,000 on ebay for something that is of poor quality. I lurked here and Garison Carida's website for months before I became a member. Now I've been a member for a few months, I have just finally placed an order for my suit. Anxiously awaiting delivery! Dearmeat
The worst thing you can do is get in a hurry. Impatience and money is a bad combination. I have been on here for the past two months and I have still not decided on where to get my TK armor. There are choices, but you have to find what will work for you. Quinn_101
anyone want to take that on? maybe even (with their permission) have Forum suppliers (members or 501st and non members) be added to what ever section they belong to. Just an idea felt like throwing out there.

Thanks for bringing this up!

Trooperik[TK]
Hi mates. Hope you`ve had a great holidays. I got my ANH stormtrooper armor and need to adjust the pieces. At youtube i can only find "how to build" tutorials, no adjust videos. Maby its so easy that no one made a video a bout it.. But i have a low income profession, and im terrified of cutting the armor! If i ruin a piece i have to save for a really long time to try again. My questions are among other: Tools, how to cut, measurement.Ok, thanks guys. Erik.
