Vultren[TK]
Hey guys, So after trooping events, I sometimes find it annoying not being able to find out what time it is. So I was thinking maybe there is a way to get a clock installed into my helmet. After doing some research on ways of making it so I could do this with light weight, I came up with the idea of a small projector that shoots out the time. Here is my solution:----------- It's super cheap first off. Like $2.50?! So I figured I'd pick up two of these and try them out. Has anyone done this or thnks this might be a good idea? Curious about your opinions on this. Edited March 28, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link removed no longer working
Vultren[TK]
I also think that site has some pretty cool gadgets for good prices too. I'll be getting a few things on there actually.
BananoPower22[TK]
It might not weight a lot, but it may take a lot of space from your helmet IMO. But it looks good
Daetrin[Admin]
Even if it can't be in a helmet, could still be a cool belt accessory, or else I wonder if you take it apart put one in a comlink?
Scootch[TK]
Good idea!

pandatrooper[TK]
Put it in your E 11 or scope! "what time is it?" "set for stun and find out!".
Calculon
I think the timepiece in the bucket is a brilliant idea. Have you thought of using a more conventional solution like a small digital clock just off to the side? ------------ Edited March 28, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link removed no longer working
bluehickey
I think it's a cool idea, but think that if it was in your helmet it would end up being so close to your head/face that it would be out of focus. I like the idea of putting it in your blaster somewhere.
Necron[TK]
Why not put one on or in the counter box on the blaster? Just a thought I had.

Vultren[TK]
Why not put one on or in the counter box on the blaster? Just a thought I had. Adding to the blaster would be a good idea. If it fails to work in the helmet, I'll implement it into my E-11. Great ideas guys!
manxtrooper
I think your best solution would be a simple button activated audiable speaking clock to an ear piece or similar. It's hard enough as it is to see inside a trooper lid.

Brent
A feature that I'm working in to my blaster is a -----------. As an added bonus I can fire my blaster as a starting gun and it will activate the stop watch . We'll see how this goes, but I think it will be pretty handy. Has anyone else tried working a clock in to their kit? Edited March 28, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link removed no longer working
