  1. the back part of the cap looks good but from the side view it looks like the curve moves up, I would cut along the line where you have it, test fit the face plate and see how it lines up. you'll want a but of a curve going underneath since you'll be attaching the neck seal.
  2. Gloves will work but they look a bit on the big side. Home depot sells those gloves for about 5 bucks and have differnt sizes. I got the same pair, just FYI they get hot. Nice job on the trimming.
  3. aye, where would one go to get a manequin? Nice job on the armor!
  4. to me the brow looks a bit lop sided. other then that, looks good
  5. Mine took me about 2 months, it will be 100% by Halloween witch was my goal. You dont need to rush it, you'll be sad when its done...cuz its so much fun to build!
  6. Every pull just looks better and better! Have fun with it bro! go easy measure twice cut once. Feel free to ask questions everyone here wants you to look good in that armor!
  7. omg omg omg drool lol the opening day is going to be on hell of a party....and troop if they call on the 501st
  8. Awesome stuff bro! Was the guy that painted your armor a friend or just some guy? And did he give you any weird looks? I got some weird looks from the people at a sewing place when I brought my canvas belt in to get sewn.
  9. 6) "Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?" Really?!? #6?!? that should be #1. Now for ep 1-3 hehe
  10. since everyone here has been so helpful I just want to throw another update...... of my weathering. Bucket: http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/ab72/Ki...icture027-1.jpg http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/ab72/Ki...icture025-1.jpg Armor: http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/ab72/Ki...icture026-1.jpg sorry not the best pics and the lighting is just horrible. Belt still needs to be made also.
  11. 118 hours!?!? Holy crap! How much coffie did you consume heh
  12. Aye, i've been getting 30 hours for the past 6 months and just lately we are getting more hours! Yay! The holliday hours are starting up early this year I take it.
  13. The answer is in the subject line. And I agree with the Quality.Honesty. Respect thing.
  14. Looks interesting with the trimming you did on the teeth. Might just be that I like the look of the teeth to be more 3d-ish. Can't wait to see it compleated
  15. Aye you can't go wrong with e6000
  16. two days?!?! did you get everything glued with that tube?
  17. Can't speek for the belt since I haven't done mine yet. As for the lenses just use a hot glue gun, if there's gaps that's fine, the more ventilation you can get the better.
  18. Ok, that is just to cool! I love the shading on the Intestines. Lol
  19. The ears look fine, if your worried about the bottem part sticking out just do what I did and glue it down clamp it and let it dry for 2 days for a good hold. Or use some white caulk. How come I didn't think of that....doh! Heh
  20. Yay! More ATA builds! Looking good there.
  21. Listen to the wise words everyone speeks. I was in the same boat when I started. I couldn't wait, but I did and got the armor that I wanted and never looked back. Just my two cents, do some research on ATA if your on a budget and want a good starter kit. It'll get you doing EVERY THING, really fun stuff! Read around the boards, study study study and you will find what you are looking for
  22. Nice idea. That's way cleaner then useing foam.
  23. Well after pondering why the tracking number didn't work my worries were quicky dashed away as my folks called me to come pick up a package! Sweet my boots came in and they are wonderful! Very comfy and look super cool with my armor! I believe we all owe the man, the compay responsible for this. I for one will email and thank them for what they have done for us. Times looked bleak for me atleast and this saved me time and money on dye and more expesive boots. Thank you!
  24. Got my tracking number on Saturday but I type it in today and it says there's no record of this number.....
  25. only logos on the champs are one small one at the base of the leg and base of the arm. For those late night trimming sessions lexan scissors are great! http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.p...Curved-Straight
