That sound like the best night ever!

So does anyone have any special Star Wars plans for this Friday? Our garrison is hosting a huge Star Wars day at a library. We did this last year and it was really successful with over 1,000 patrons visiting, this year will probably be even bigger. I'll be wearing my Heavy Weapons Trooper since there will already be a couple of TK's there. I probably won't troop wearing the backpack because it gets really heavy and uncomfortable after an hour, plus with all of the people there and the limited space, I don't want my backpack knocking people over as I move around. I'm looking forward to this because the best troops are when Star Wars fans attend!

I'd take the photos with pauldron and back pack on in all views.

I think the staff here has set a great example by putting lots of time in replying to posts in a positive way and being helpful. It has established a precedent of being helpful to others and not hoarding information but being free with it.

You can put a snap at the bottom of the calf piece and the other on the top of your boots and snap them together, or do the same thing with velcro.

I bought this one too a long time ago, and the quality was pretty cheap. The velcro eventually ripped off the fabric. I had to replace it with a completely different neck seal. You get what you pay for in this case.

I just heard that George Lucas is going to personally thank each trooper for doing this by autographing any item they bring as well as taking individual photos with each participant. I'M SO EXCITED!

I just got all of the troopers in my garrison signed up, so that eliminates another 28 spots!

Good choice, and by not going black you won't get called "Darth Vader" by people at events.

Even while sporting very casual clothing, that trooper is still accurately holding his blaster in his left hand! Nice!

Although the inside looks gorgeous, the sad fact is that the outer design is what counts. As mentioned, it's an FX bucket so it's not gonna get much maybe $80 - $100.

When I was putting my armor together I was constantly making trips to all kinds of different stores, I seriously thought that I was single-handedly keeping the economy afloat with all the money I was spending on odds and ends!

I love it, the armor looks amazing!

I've got UA's heat wear and it's light weight and does a good job of wicking away the sweat from your body and having it collect on the inside of your armor. The nice thing about it is that when there is even the slightest breeze or air blowing it, you can instantly feel it and it can cool you down nicely. I would strongly suggest getting a squirrel fan for the helmet though, Brian is right: if you can keep your head cool, then the rest of you can survive much easier!

I think all of that velcro on the inside of your armor is going to make you very hot when trooping.
