I pack everything inside everything and then some until I get a tightly packed chest and back sandwich with everything else in the middle. that package I carry in a plastic trunk. I´ve done that for years and it has worked perfectly!

the idea of making lenses for the helmet with your prescription sounds like the better option in my humble opinion. the idea is so sound to me actually that I might even try to take my lid lenses to the ophthalmologist and ask him for a pricing on that!

Thanks a lot guys! still needs a few tweaks before I get it to be a Heavy Weapons Trooper, but for the first real time in over 3 years i´m really happy about the way it looks. i´m thinking about trimming the upper legs into the real shape they should have, they are too damned round and the color tone between the helmet and the armor is starting to bug me out a bit however this armor will be sold in a few months and no more than a year so I can buy myself an ATA, and THEN i´ll be really closer to being really happy about my armor. I say close due to the FACT that we are forever looking for ways to make it look better, aren´t we brothers and sisters? LOL

if the special edition suits have them then they are cannon and can be drilled in the buckets right? i don´t like them by the way, but i´m just checking.

Aren´t the vast majority of stormtroopers ambidextrous just like Jango? supposedly the can wield the weapon with the same efficiency with both hands. when The Emperor changed the genetic plates for his own cloning productions the ambidexterity might have gone down the drain, but still quite a few might have the original Jango traits. it seems the holster side is the choosing preference of the Soldier using it, although we know in ANH is all lefties and RotJ are all righties (is that a real word?)

Agreed, I found out about the white drop box webbing last week during an in-depth scouting for all eib applications in the forum. I'll change it in about two weeks. the new holster is already underway. The one I have came with the kit and its a right sided holster. the new one will be a lefty. Thanks! yeah... I'm about to buy a set of corect sized and clored buttons but al the while I found those silver ones and thought it might look better than just black. not accurate at all, i know, but better looking than the equally non screen accurate black buttons. The shoemaker that did the boots had no white elastic at the time. I have already bought some white fabric paint to paint the elastics and correct the issue. Nice feedback Guys!! nothing like seeing the world through other people's eyes! thanks! the armor has already been cleared, and yeah, i'm really striving for the EIB. it is very possible that by the first months of next year this armor will be sld to a friend that wants it so I can get myself an ATA and really make me EIB worthy. thanks man! here they are. these where taken about two weeks ago and this is how my armor looks at this moment. feel free to feedback!

grab a tab of plastic and curve it in the exact shape of the inner forearm in the place the accident happened. get the piece that you cut and place it in place again (NO GLUE YET) just to check it fits nicely, if it doesn´t then try getting the right shape again and repeat. after you´re sure it fits, glue the piece to the plastic tab (the tab has to be bigger that the piece) and then glue the tab with the piece in place. use any filler you need (bondo, white wall putty, etc) to make the scar disappear and sand it until it gets smooth. paint. hope that helps!

well.... i´ve used epoxy for about 14 years now in planes, helmets, armor, models, terrain models, etc and never had any problems with poisoning. the ones time I felt a little light headed was last year while using contact cement for a ARC pauldron I was building. basically all my helmets have epoxy on the inside and I´ve never had any problems. You might want to check that with your local hardware store though.

Anything is more confortable than tk boots! both pairs I've had killed my feet after a few hours!! on C4 i almost had to have my friend drag me out to the car 'cause i just couldn't feel my feet!

Jonah, according to the cannon, the troopers that went with Darth Vader in all his attacks where 501st troopers. The Elite unit given to him by The Emperor. Thus the troopers assaulting the Tantive IV are in fact 501st. the same is on Hoth, the attacking units are all 501st and are the Stormtroopers in charge of Darth Vader. General Veers is not a clone trooper however he is in charge of the ground assault. the troopers that assaulted Cloud City are also 501st as are the ones that assaulted the Massassi Temple on Yavin and Admiral Dodonna. the ones in cloud city had non clone commanders assigned to them. basically every time we see the stormtroopers squash the baddies, those troopers are 501st. when Darth Vader is in command. This is proven and accepted fact. just to clarify, the ones on Endor are not 501st, the are the emperor´s shock troopers and he effectively states in his line "an entire Legion of my best troops awaits them" and let´s remember that his personal clones where the red stripped Coruscanti Shocktroopers. These, as well as Vader s 501st swapped colors for curgical white when the Empire was young but retained their status as Elites as The emperor and Vaders personal Troops however despite of their status, the Emperor´s Shocktroopers did not have the experience of fighting in countles battles in the field like Vader´s 501st legion did.
