  3. NO WAY! jajajajaja Well you?ll win... i can mod the armor quickly but not the blaster... i just don?t have the time to beat you Paul jajajaja Anyway... I?ll post the pics for the helmet mod tomorrow. Let me see if I got it right. Small grey frown. little white on the frown borders white bolts/screws on the earpieces smoke bubble lenses Blue arerator striper on the tubes Is that it for the helmet?
  4. That means no black line around the grey right? Damn... on to the drawing board again! Ok Paul... I?ll open mine as soon as I have the pics! Thanks anyway Scott! Surely you?ll get yours first!! jaja
  5. Woah!
  6. Great Looking FX Bernard! That armor is very reliable when it comes to mods that?s for sure!
  7. I?ll do the mod on the helmet tonight. Thanks for the pointing tips Paul! Cap?n Crazas: Jeez!..you going for Mark too? Well... so much for taking it slowly. I WILL BE the first Mark IV deployed in Costa Rica!! This I vow! Say Scott... do you mind me adding myself to this thread with my own Mark work in progress Project?
  8. the more work you put on your armor the more you love?er!! jajajaja anyway... there?s no such thing as being completely satisfied qhen costuming jjajajaja good luck!
  9. You Build Bikes for West Coast Bikes!!! HOLY....!!! Just for the heck of it.... how much would a bike fitted for an Imperial Stormtrooper would cost? Y?know, with the imperial logo on the tank and the bags and looking like a swoop bike maybe... like the one use by Durge in clone wars but painted black and white? Sorry to spam the thread but I got Terribly curious!
  10. 4 me thinks! the hero style the sandy style the standard style and the stunt I?m answering from what I can recall sitting here in my job!
  11. jajajajaja I should update my info soon! "skinny diping"!! jajajaja
  12. Agree.... The thing is... you HAVE to get the measures of the helmet and make the choice form there. you can end with either a very big or a very small helmet. Choose well.
  13. Well isn?t that cute!!! I love the expression on the FX Helmet but I have to agree that that is not a bucket for everyone. you have to be standard stormtrooper sized or bigger to make an FX to look great.
  14. I agree... why don?t you use the left overs from the belt?
  15. Too Heavy, to uncofortable, too hot! Not recomended for trooping under the sun.
  16. so..... is there an answer?
  17. Pretty good looking belt!
  18. This has become one smelly thread!! jajaja I had mine done so I guess I?ll have to wait to see if they develop an "odor"... I don?t have smelly feet thanks the Goddess so I don?t think there?ll be a problem. About the size of the CAboots, my man, i would try them on with the rest of the armor on to see how they look. If they look ok and prortionate to the rest of the armor I wouldn?t change ?em.
  19. Yo, Paul! Do you have any pics on the clip mod on the therm. detonator?
  20. I?m using Velcro on my plastic belt... and will most probably use velcro on my canvas one once it is done. My Belt will be a Mixture of the original abs plastic belt inside the canvas one to add strength and rigidity to the belt.
  21. Looking good!!! That?s becoming a really working piece of armor there!
  22. What makes you who you are? We?ll i?m a very straightforward kind of person, i say things in the face and I always take responsability for my actions. I have a mutant power for making friends and for entertaining ppl around me, specially kids! and even more in armor! I?ve never experienced what a family nucleus is so I guess I made my friends and the world my family and home. I?ve been working hard ever since I was very young and I learned about life the hard way. I guess that?s why I strive so hard towards the Humanitarian side of the Legion. What makes you tick? Honesty, bravery, courage and spirit. What do you do for a living? About anything i can... at 34 years of age i?ve been a animator for 11 years of my life, i used to work doing stained glass windows for some years, i was for some years in the street doing freelance graphic arts and right now I?m working as a supervisor for a call center. What other passions do you have? Besides Starwars i love the lord of the rings and anything that has to do with fantasy and celtic stuff. I love Miniatures nad have a rather LARGE collection of Warhammer 40k and warhammer fantasy miniatures as well as star wars minis and Warmachine minis wich...by any standard are the most amazingly detailed miniatures I?ve ever see. I also Love greek history. Other Hobbies and such? Movies, miniature gaming, paintball, laser tag, swimming and music... especially soundtracks. Married or Not? yep!! Happily!!! Kids? No... not yet anyway.
  23. Jajajaja... Thanks! I just love to get compliments on my armor jaja. Yeap!! that?s an FX in all It?s glory! I?m 1.80 mts tall (imperial stormtrooper standard size according to cannon) so that might be a part of why it fits so nicely. Ok...what I did was to fit every single part on me one By one in this manner: on the legs i placed the velcro on the front pieces just like the manual stated, then I cut the Velcro pieces already sticked together (loop against Hook) and then took one of the glue side papers to expose the sticky side, I then proceeded to stick the piece on one of the sides of the leg on the back side pieces where I calculated that they would fit. once I knew it was stuck in place I took the other paper and proceeded to place VERY CAREFULLY the upper part of the piece over it, getting sure it molded to muy leg tightly. (all of this with the black bodyglove on of course.) I proceeded like this with every single part. Now the parts where I changed the rules was in here: the straps on the inside of the shoulder bell where welded in place higher and almost touching the inner ridge. in that way the bells stay in place tightly and you don?t see the straps over the white plastic of the arms. The ABS shoulder straps are placed allowing almost 3 fingers worth of space between the chest and back plates and the straps on the sides that hold the chest and back pieces where welded into place using abs glue higher and deeper into the armor so that the straps are not visible over the abs and kidney pieces. The "vest" as I call it now is placed just like that now... a vest. The last improovement I did on it was to actually trim the back ending pieces of the legs and the upper back pieces of the calfs so I can run, kneel, sit, jump and do push ups and other kinds of nasty things on it without a problem. I hope this covers it...I?ll try to post pics on monday to further explain all this babble!
