something of this magnitude is, at least, a very hard thing to pass by, specially for people that lost their priced possessions and face a possible fine. But once again, i have to agree here, that it was bound to happen sometime since its the law we are talking about. I feel sorry for you Vincent, you are an OK guy in my book and I can fully understand what drove you to do this just as I can understand the guys that lost their props. we must all hope for the best here, no Ill intentions drove this issue into being. to Err is Human, to forgive is divine.

I have to agree, if his garrison does not accept him out of this I think the issue could be sent to the council. there is no rule whatsoever that restricts a member joining a garrison because of a situation like this, he did what was legally correct and vincent or not the law would have noticed sooner or later. they SHOULD accept him in their ranks, in reality he did noting wrong as oppossed to the other troopers who openly displayed their blasters in a country where that is expressively forbidden by law. what happened was infortunate but excluding him off the garrison is not the right course of action. that's my opinion at least.

at this point the best chance for a MR CE helmet might be ebay. that's where I got mine for 150 bucks. however... you might want to look on build threads for the ATA helmet and kit. IMO the best armor at this point.

i stil don't own one, i will in december but for what I ve read it seems that it will hold for troops without a problem, just don't throw yourself in the flor and roll over and stuff like that. however if you want an armor that you can do light stunts in, i would recomend an light FX kit (without helmet, hence light) and buy a MRCE helmet. it'll cost more... but you'll feel safer I guess. I still can't recomend ATA more due to acuracy and quality for the price, it'll be hard for you to get a better deal.

ATA has done quite an extraordinary good job for all of us. and as I stated before he's the living proof that quality can be sold without overcharging. I admire T. for what hes done with this armor in benefit of the legion and this group and I commend him for this. Cheers are in order for him and I'm very happy for your new build. if life treats me well in december I'll be starting with mine!

Ata is 501st aproved, it is really accurate and at a very reasonable price. I would say go ahead!

i agree, attacking vincent is not going to do anything, he was trying to operate withing the laws of his country. last night while trooping i thought about this... what about if they can come up with a prop that looks like a blaster inside the holster but in reality there no blaster? only the butt, the grip and sight and the rest of the prop is the holster? I don't know... made in rubber or something? they won't be able to hold anything in their hands but at least the'll look complete... sort of

regarding armor.... i guess FX might be the best for you my friend. it can be easily made to fit big guys like yourself! dude we gotta see you in a DV suit!
