  1. I'd get white, however get the industrial velcro at Wal-Mart; you'll save like 50%.
  2. I agree. Most troopers I know with an MRCE do replace/trim the ears. They also file out the teeth holes in order to make them bigger.
  3. How much did it cost to have the Cobbler dye them?
  4. Boots finally came in
  5. You take acetone and use cotton balls to swab off all of the overcoat. Once you have all 200% of the finishing coat off, you use leather dye and brush it on.
  6. Most of our summer troops are outside, and they usually last 4-5 hours. There are breaks of course, but being born in the desert, I'm not really phased by extreme heat.
  7. Whimps, I'm from Vegas in 125ºF summers, and wear nothing but my bodysuit and white plastic, haha.
  8. I hope that you bought more than 1 blade for that exacto!! haha. Good luck
  9. I'm glad to finally see them posted
  10. I also do not clean my armour, however, when it needs to be done, Novus is the stuff to use. -----
  11. They really don't look that bad, but I figure if you're taking the measures to get an accurate helmet and/or suit, you might as well spend an extra $20 and go the distance
  12. I'd have to say they are better than the FX ones. I'm going to donate them to whoever in my garrison wants them.
  13. Jeremy Bulloch has been known to tell people that the Boba Fett armour and helmet were made out of metal.
  14. AP's Aerators Stomper's Aerators
  15. My canvas belt has arrived. Only problem is that it is white, not the off-white which I requested. No problem though, I can fix this through weathering Here is my armour at the moment, everything is trimmed except for the upper back (in the mail), the drop boxes, and the side caps to the bomb. I have begun assembling the arms too.
  16. Any idea how long shipping takes for barnstompers?? I ordered my boots about a month ago and still no arrival, I think I'll e-mail them at the end of the week if they don't show up.
  17. Edit: Mixed up Gino and TE for a second.
  18. I registered there a while ago, I've never been on it though. By the looks of it, I could be banned for even posting there, haha.
  19. I picked up a bottle of that plastic weld, and so far it's making some awesome results on my armour. My biceps are almost done!! They look so professionally made, haha.
  20. Once you go airbrush, you can never use a rattlecan and feel good about yourself again, haha
  21. I've been airbrushing Boba Fett armour for years, and no matter how complex of a paintjob Boba Fett has, a stormtrooper will always be harder. Any blemish on the stormtrooper, you will notice, you have to prime it perfectly, sand it perfectly, coat it perfectly. These things can be ignored on Boba, and even add to the image.
  22. The frown, ears, and vocoder have been painted. All that I need to do to the helmet now are to paint the stripes on the ears, install the lenses, and install the frown mesh. After this comes pics of the armour The armour is about 90% trimmed, I just need to first start learning to work with this modeling iron!!
  23. Helmet is just about done! I just need to paint the frown, vocoder, ears, add pinstriping around the ears, install the lenses, and install the frown mesh. Then I'm all done with this majour piece of the puzzle which is the ESB Stormtrooper!!
