Hello everybody on whitearmor.net! I would first like to thank the community for putting up such a great detachment for the 501st. I remember back in the day, us stormtroopers were about the only costume without a detachment (thanks Daetrin!). Without these boards, I would still feel comfortable wearing my FX, but now I'm on to bigger, better, and more expensive things, haha. My name is Andy, and I am TK-1287 of the Neon City Garrison. I've been a member of the Legion since 2006, but have been trooping unofficially as my Boba Fett since 2005. I have also been serving as GML of the Neon City Garrison since 2007. My body type is 5'9" and 120lbs, so the FX kit doesn't fit my body type at all, that goodness for AP!! I've been wanting to do an ESB Elite stormtrooper for the past year, but I finally have had all of the funds in order, and I think waiting the extra year was well worth it. So it begins... I can't wait to see your armour finished I just ordered my AP a few days ago, and from what I was told it should be shipped today

Quick is right! I ordered mine at like 10pm on the 6th, and I just got it today on the 8th.

I think airbrushing is simple, but others find it difficult. A single solid colour should be absolutely no problem, even for newcomers to airbrushing.

Have you tried airbrushing your helmet? You can get some pretty pure white colours from airbrushing.

Before my helmet arrives, I was wondering what the recommended colour for the ESB helmet frown and vocoder were? I kind of like the flat black colour, but what is more accurate? Should I go with a semi-gloss? Thanks, Andy

Well I'm ordering my suit as soon as AP gets back to me about payment information! I also need to get those Snowtrooper handplates and belt! I will probably be ESB Elite after #50 though, but I'd rather be Elite than my current generic FX!!

What?? Seriously? I'm going ESB Elite as soon as I get my armour I could have sworn there were more than two!

If they were brushed on, I think we'd see some pretty nasty brush marks.

Looking awesome! However, I just noticed that you still have the counter on your E-11.

Mix latex in with paint and airbrush it. It will allow it to flex.

I'm a full time student too. About my only cash income is from airbrushing commissions for people on The Dented Helmet, haha. I plan to use Christmas to my advantage to be able to afford the AP suit. I'm only about $200 away from being able to afford it on my own. I could just sell my FX though..
