  1. Welcome to FISD!! Exciting times ahead for sure! What is the maker of the armor that you purchased?

    This had me lol ?
  3. Hello Torsten! Welcome to FISD Glad to have you, and congratulations on finally making your dream come true! Where are you at in the process? Are you still deciding on what kit to buy or if you want to build it yourself or get a commissioned kit?
  4. Incredible work Francois! Truly amazing! Congratulations brother!
  5. We do know quite a bit about the white armor on here, so feel free to ask any and all questions! Is your intention to join the 501st or just to assemble that kit that you have? As previously stated here, if you want to ask Sandtrooper specific questions - the correct forum would be found here: https://forum.mepd.net/
  6. Good luck Mike! I must say I'm jealous of your armor! Looks real nice brother!
  7. Btw, I think one of the reasons it looks like you could do with putting the forearms a bit further down, is because your handplates are far down on the glove itself! I would start with trying to reposition the hand plates further up the glove! The arrows in my image just indicate the direction I'd move them, not any exact position!
  8. Yeah I wouldn't color the foam either! The color could bleed out if you put pressure on the foam, and mixed with sweat, it just feels like a recipe for something not so nice! You never really need to put foam in a place where it can be seen anyways, and on top of that, the armor sits tight enough to the body that it will be very hard for it to be visible! Regarding the boots, if you are aiming for Expert Infantry/Centurion, then the boots need replacing! The shins look great on you!
  9. Congrats!!! Great job so far on those suggested fixes!
  10. I would personally just tape it in! It doesn't need to be super permanent I don't think!
  11. Great job so far Asher! Some foam and tape could do wonders for how it sits on the body! The links that Glen posted are awesome!
  12. Yes they are approx 8mm in diameter!
  13. He said "** and I know, the press fittings are wrong side out. I’m just using them like that as support to see how it turned out and get your opinion …", so I interpreted your message wrong then Glen, my bad! I read "position is good" as (the position of the rivet on the thigh ammo pack) and that the "rivet is not correct" as (the position of the rivet on the thigh itself), sorry for any confusion here! You're all good Daniel
  14. I think that it's harsh saying that the rivet is not correct here! This should be good for Centurion, unless there is something I'm not seeing that the Deployment Officers sees of course! The rivets you just put there looks better positioned than on my armor! If you take photos from the inside of the leg @Lafleur, we will see the position more clearly!
