Hello Melisa! Welcome to the FISD! How far along are you in your project? First off, what Stormtrooper are you building? To get started, here are some useful links that can help you in your build, assuming you're building an ANH Stunt: If you need help building your armor, feel free to start a build threat of your own here (if you are building an ANH Stunt): https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/80-anh-build-threads/ Build threads are a very good way of getting feedback from our knowledgeable members and staff! We always have people that are online, so you usually receive answers pretty quickly!

Hello Felix! Where are you based? Just thinking of what Garrison you would be joining so that we could potentially hook you up with some local troopers to help you! Would you mind posting some photos of your helmet from a few angles? We use Imgur for posting images on here! Just create an account on there and paste your images, then you can link them over here by copying the image address url and pasting here as a new post to this thread! What maker is your helmet? Excited to see your plans come to fruition!

As we wrote in DMs, I think these lines should be good! Try it out with the belt tightened too perhaps so that you know for sure that it looks good even when the belt is tight! It's one thing when it's on the table of course and one thing when the belt is tight!

I have some E6000 if you don't have any!
-
The padding in my helmet is just on my forehead and on the back of my head! I have nothing on the top!

You don't have the shoulder bridges on yet, but mounting the shoulder snaps on the white fabric a little more forward towards the front and a bit more in towards your head should cover the tightened look of a Centurion! Minimizing the gap between the shoulder and the shoulder bridge (bringing the snap on the white fabric more towards your head) and it will give you a somewhat better shape and look from the front (bringing the snap on the white fabric forwards towards the front) However, I would do this once my shoulder bridges are in place! You could wear your biceps a little lower, just make sure you still have movement! If you have padding inside your helmet, I would suggest to remove it, to get the helmet to sit lower!

Great to see you made it over here to post your build thread! We spoke in DM about some details and I'd just like to say how awesome it is to see someone aiming for Centurion from the start! Let's get this show on the road!!

Very sad news regarding James Earl Jones' passing, our boss! And Vince! They are one with the force now.

Nice one! I've been thinking about getting the CFO ROTJ for a while! Would be nice to see the suited up pics!
-
These things are also what creates character between troopers! I doubt that a GML wouldn't clear you, but at the end of the day - you should be happy with it!
-
Looking forward to seeing things come together! Do you think that it will be finished this year? Would be a stretch getting it done for Comic Con 2024 in November but you can always dream, right?

Hello and welcome James! Always good to see determination to research! It really pays off in the end! Tough one but extremely cool!!

Congratulations!!! -
The only difference between the ANH Hero and Stunt is the belt and the helmet, everything else you can "recycle" (for lack of a better word) haha! Exciting that you want to add the Hero to your list of costumes!! I have both too, but I've only ever used my Hero on troops!

9yrs in the closet...no Tom Cruise jokes thank you.

Don't worry you'll get a hang of this! Posting images on here is much easier if you use something like https://imgur.com/, log in there, paste your photos, and then on the photos, right click and choose "copy image address" - then paste in the thread! By doing this, you are able to paste as many images as you want - since there is a limit to every account on the forum on how much data one can post! Nevertheless, the left forearm has 11 indents, and the right one 12 indents! That is how you tell the outer parts apart! -

If you attach images to the thread we can see how it looks and also see possible solutions for whatever "mistake" you've made! Is it just that you cut the bicep out, put the cover strips on and it doesn't feel snug on your bicep? (because that is rarely a problem) -

I think that you should rather have a cut line like this on the shoulder: Not following the shape all the way out but rather keeping the main line intact! Maybe do the pencil lines on the other shoulder as well and put them side by side for comparison? For the symmetrical look I'd suggest having a look at both shoulders together!
