Btw, I think one of the reasons it looks like you could do with putting the forearms a bit further down, is because your handplates are far down on the glove itself! I would start with trying to reposition the hand plates further up the glove! The arrows in my image just indicate the direction I'd move them, not any exact position!
-
Yeah I wouldn't color the foam either! The color could bleed out if you put pressure on the foam, and mixed with sweat, it just feels like a recipe for something not so nice! You never really need to put foam in a place where it can be seen anyways, and on top of that, the armor sits tight enough to the body that it will be very hard for it to be visible! Regarding the boots, if you are aiming for Expert Infantry/Centurion, then the boots need replacing! The shins look great on you!
-
I would personally just tape it in! It doesn't need to be super permanent I don't think!
-
Great job so far Asher! Some foam and tape could do wonders for how it sits on the body! The links that Glen posted are awesome!
-
Yes they are approx 8mm in diameter!

He said "** and I know, the press fittings are wrong side out. I’m just using them like that as support to see how it turned out and get your opinion …", so I interpreted your message wrong then Glen, my bad! I read "position is good" as (the position of the rivet on the thigh ammo pack) and that the "rivet is not correct" as (the position of the rivet on the thigh itself), sorry for any confusion here! You're all good Daniel
-
I think that it's harsh saying that the rivet is not correct here! This should be good for Centurion, unless there is something I'm not seeing that the Deployment Officers sees of course! The rivets you just put there looks better positioned than on my armor! If you take photos from the inside of the leg @Lafleur, we will see the position more clearly!

The back plate looks very small, the kidney plate also looks quite large! -
Help with this ANH Stunt kit!

This GIF is just comparing it to my helmet, to just highlight the distortion that's currently on the images! It doesn't look too far off, it's just something with the eyes! Nore that I have a Hero helmet and not a Stunt! -

The eyes are very far apart, but the images themselves doesn't do it justice! If they'd take the images with 3x zoom and stand back a little bit, we'd get a more accurate reading of how the dimensions of the helmet actually look, since it seems to have been photographed with almost a "fish eye" lens distortion, usually happens in 0.5x mode on smartphones -

Was it used in Rogue One or is it from the Disney+ series? Thank you for uploading! Did you add them to the Gallery? -

I was also taking a look at it and saw the same spots as Glen! He has the eyes of a hawk! -
Just looked at mine, and I have 1 large + 4! So I guess for spacing on the rivet for the thigh ammo pack, since the rivet is 8mm in diameter, it would be safe to do 10mm distance from the top and left, just so that it is evenly spaced at the same distance from the edges (when the rivet is in place the distance would be 5-6mm from the edges). I've seen some applications be denied because of the rivet spacing, but that's usually when it is too close to the top edge right (or left edge for that matter)? As far as I know we don't have a set measurement for this
-
The rivets on the thigh ammo pack should be a certain distance from the edges but I don't find the picture that I had been looking at before!

Oh cool! We don't have any approved 3d printed ANH TKs yet what I know of! If someone knows of one, please let me know! Is your goal to join the 501st Legion or do you just want to build a Stormtrooper armor for personal use? Regardless, we're here for you to share our knowledge and answer any of your questions!
