  2. TM answered this in an older thread... can't find it. And can't remember what it was, either. I'm getting old.... edit: I think this is one of the elastics that held the thighs together on the originals edit 2: Found it!

  5. Almost, Pat, almost. I used lots of baby powder. Thank you guys, you really make me blush. I would have never thought it all would come to this when I registerd almost 2 and a half year ago (Oh my!) All I wanted then was to buy just a helmet! (Which I think was my very first post ) I made a lot of friends here, and my english certainly improved. THANK YOU ALL! As for the hand guards, it wasn't really single handed. I got lots of help, input and encouragement frome some members (hi TM), but it always warms my heart when troopers wear them and showing them off... Here's to the next 1000!

  19. Are you planning to make a hero faceplate?
  20. Why ROTJ? Because they need love, too! Seriously, the look grew on me too It's Joe's and Mark's fault, because they shared so much info and pics.
  21. They were just glued on.... I'm sure Joe will chime in soon to confirm.
  22. Just to show how much work was done to create them: A: styrene master B: poly urthan mold for refining C: rubber master (with tilt) to create the plaster mold (not pictured) D: raw latex cast E: finished hand guard
