  1. The bumps are glued on this one, as is the vocoder. They just forgot them.
  2. yup. -------

  4. Check out Tk4510
  5. Doesn't look bad at all. For best results always screw them on, as the plastik bends Also, take a look at this------- Many useful tips there!
  6. Thanks Terrel. That would be a possibility. Maybe I shuold inform the Austrian Post.
  7. Post pics. A few mm of gaps a screen accurate. Replacing this part might be an option.
  8. Well, I have to live with it. I can't send to USA anymore, if it heavier than 499 grams.
  9. Edit: This is a official statment from the Austrian Postal service: EMS is a high priced carrier service.
  10. Strange Terrell... It all over the newspapers here... It started a few weeks ago (around christmas) and several thousand packages over 500g got returned or rejected. So this is just a rumour?
  11. I agree, but not via regular postal service. You have to chosse another international carrier like DHL or UPS., which are WAY more expensive in Europe.
  12. I stand corrected! Thanks! I really have to re-read that old thread
  13. ..and the end of the frown IIRC.
  14. hm.. you can't send TO the US. This is quite new.
  15. Everything over 500g. You can use Fedex or UPS, but you have to include a detailed list and bill of every item included. For example: a regular box with Austrian Postal service would have cost €13, but now (with EMS or UPS) about €47. Imagine that, €47 shipping for 2 sets of handgaurds.
  16. Apparently there is a new postal law, which prohibts packages over 500 grams (1 lb) to be sent TO the US. Unless you use a special carrier with ridicoulous high charges. I just got an order sent BACK to me because it was a little over that. No I have to repack it into 2 packages and have to pay shipping again.... So, if you are from any other part of the world and need to send something to the US, check all available option BEFORE. I guess you US guys won't see European made armor again. Okay, rant over.
  17. That was my initial plan too. But until recently, ROTJ were hard to get.
  18. Thanks everybody! A know I complete new helmet is best, but I'm always trying to save money. The teeth are not cut out yet, I thought maybe pushing the plastic back could work without destroying the glossy finish... as for pics, I have'nt finished any of them. They're asssembleb mostly, but certain things keep me from finishing them, like correct trims (I know where to get them, but money is tight ATM) correct lighting gel ( not so easy to come by) a decent HDPE color (duh!) sa screws I have 1 A'P (with severe scratches during assemble, needs to be painted) maybe go sandy 1 ATA assembled, going chipped ESB 1 CAP-W assembled by the maker, going ANH chipped 1 restaurated VT, started ESB, don't know really what to do 1 TM stunt, still in box, maybe going for "idealized display wanting: 1 hero helmet 1 JoeR ROTJ
  19. For me, the stunt is also "the" helmet. Because you see them more often. But once you have one helmet you'll have to urge to own all of them ANH hero ANH stunt ANH sandie ESB ROTJ death star ROTJ Endor oh, and some clean and chipped versions maybe a trooping lid and so on
  20. is making the molds for new white rubber hand guards

  21. I was just thinking... I have enough stunt helmets, but I'd like to make a hero one. Is it possible to turn a TM stunt face plate into a hero one? What possibilities do I have?
  22. --- and play the Imperial March
  23. Thanks everyone! Palmolive actually worked Its a 2-part mold, made out of resin... I could'nt use waterbased clay, as the PU resin would have been foamed up because of the water..
