  1. Noooooooooooooooooo!
  2. Welcome to the club!
  3. That was disgusting to read. Lol. And entertaining!
  6. Unser Stoffexperte meldet sich! War eh klar. Rick, dein Deutsch ist einfach ein Wahnsinn! Hoffentlich ist die gg bald wieder online.
  7. It is not the number, the left and right sides are different und you mixed them up. Hardly noticeable. But it is a nice build. Mike got me the #4 helmet and i am proud of it beyond words.
  8. Keep them! Besides, even if you fix them, you'll get them in the same places again.
  9. This is a complete differnt template.
  10. Walter is a really nice man! I met on a convention one day. BUT WHY have him signed on your bucket?
  11. Who said he had original latex hand guards? Cant be, because after 30+ years they are crumbled to dust. I dont know what his hand guards are, but there is no way on earth that they are screen used.
  12. LOL! I just love inside jokes! Looking forward to your build, Cameron!
  13. Actually, ALL of them were out of a rubber-like material. IIRC, painted latex or something like that So far, no plastic hand guard has been indentified on screen. But according to Brian Muir, they started in preproduction as "plastic cut outs", but before filming began, they switched to latex. The reason for that, is still a mystery. I'm loooking forward to your build!
  14. No, it doesn't. The originals didn't have any mesh Mike (TK4510) has decals for it on his site
  15. Yeah, listen to Eric.. He's our scuba and wet suit expert.
  16. The hand plates varied A LOT in thickness, some were even tilted... So trim until you're happy (See, no shameless plug this time ) OIh, and lexan scissors work like a charm. They cut thru 2mm ABS like paper. I don't like the dremel too much, because it melts the plastic and you have hot pieces of plastic flying around. Karin
  17. Amazing.. From THIS over THIS to THAT :
  18. Well, I went the accurate way without. Making an inner strip doubles the build time Thanks for your input!
  19. Would that be accurate?
  20. LOL! damn.. he just said "NO WAY"
  21. Okay, My BF and are building the first suit, which is for him. The first problem is: if we trim down the arms,so that th 13mm finishing strips sits flush, he cant get his hand thrugh. So, should we adjust the strip to size (16mm) or should leave it to 13 mm?
  22. Just as the title says, did the original suits have inner finishing strips? I do have same pics of original armor, but I cant really make it out. Thanks, Karin
  23. Finally someone corrects the belt, drop boxes etc. The TE-lineage items which he sculpet himself back then are about 15% too small.
