  1. Yeah. Info based on this rotj pic with lots of shoe boxes.
  2. Happy birthday! we two are only 1 day apart. Thank you for everything!
  3. The name root popped up a few months ago but it was a false lead.
  4. Thank you, guys. I really feel honored and proud to bei a part here. Cheers to you all!
  5. If it is AM, they are way to big. Get them from John Danter instead!
  6. The suits were white abs, but there is evidence that some were painted during a restauration process.
  7. Go for it, Karin! Looking forward to the build! Karin :-)
  8. Thanks for the manual, Rob!
  9. Sure it will be off, but good enough for a first glance and way better than a hasbro. And where talking about just 2mm ;)Lenght is more important IMHO. e.g fitting of the holster. And as long as it sits on the shelf or is with the manniqin, I don't care about breaking. The only "accurate" way would be owning a real one - which is out of the question for me.I don't want any weapen anywhere near my house!
  10. ACtually, I am using YOUR plans, Vern! Thats why I am asking in the first place! You did a nice job, but it is still off. - Needs to be adjusted for 40 mm - cocking handle slot is too shot - several mm need to be added on the end - several mm removed at the front - some other minor details the new all resin kit it nice, but weighs more, is more prone to crack, some details still are inaccurate
  11. SamJ, please be so kind and tell me the lenght from the end of the cocking lever slot to the beginning of the end cap. Thank you for your time!
  12. Oh, yes, I meant the slot of the cocking thingie. Dont know much gun vocabulary :-)
  13. Thank you guys! Im trying to modify the plans for the doopydoo kit, so we dont have to worry abot the end cap anymore. John, even your input was needed and is highly appreciated!
  14. Thanks everybody! Now I'm off to find the correct pipe....
  15. Hi everybody, I'm trying to make some real accurate templates; Every one I found varied from the other. Can someone with a real Sterling tell me the lenght of this part? ---------- Thanks! PS: I may need one or two more in a few days...
  16. Isnt there a sketch of the esb strapping by John Mollo on Jez's site?
  17. Thanks Jesse! That would be 38mm OD and 35 mm ID. I always thought the MGC was much smaller, like 35mm OD.
  18. Does anyone know the exact diameter of the MGC sterling? not the one from the bbc templates. Thanks!
  19. Yes and yes But I recommend white cotton gloves instead of silk.
  20. Happy birthday, Paul! all the best to you!
  21. Lol. We wrote the same at the same time!
  22. DJohn Danter you seek. Look into the for sale section.
  23. Riiiight... I remember. The one with the pattern drawn onto. But they wont be able the cast these latex. at least these will have to be "fan sculpted"
  24. One day I'll get one... I'm wonder what they gonna do with the hand guards. Do they have original ones?
  25. You will need about 2-3 applications. The paint will get soft and can be rubbed off with a soft cloth. And wear gloves!
