  1. Yeah, it was a tough winter! i made some tests with black dye, look good! and I'll soon have the pattern of the ribs ready. But it's going to be a HUUUGE mold, need to find some space for it. Paul, I like your new hand gaurds!
  2. Nice! I'll consider buying some for my collection! Karin
  3. About time I'd chime in here For latex hand guards, you can almost use ANY glue. I like CA super glue, because of its fastness. For MY white rubber (non latex) hand guards, which have a high silicone content, I use loctite superglue with activator pen. The glue I ever used I don't know what Mike uses in his version, but trust his sugesstions. He's the "King of Trooper supplies" REgarding Centurion: There aren't any details* specified (yet), as long as it's white, flexible, about the right shape, it will pass. (details: knuckle indentions, thumb slope, tilt, etc) Karin
  4. I totally agree with Paul. I asked myself the same question last year. Besides, you cant recreate that "ANH" look correctly with most kits (except with TM and RS), as the eyes go too far inward.
  5. Still working on various prototypes. But the coldest winter inEurope for over 60 years (up to -30° celsius/centigrade prevented me doing any latex work! I hope I have something to show soon! Karin
  6. I'm out of words! This even beats a doopy's resin kit for sure... Please, think about making this in kit form!
  7. Thanks, Steve! I didn't know trooperbay sold latex hand guards. I guess I'll give my friend Mike a few tips about accuracy Good luck with your build!
  8. Spray paint won't stick to the hand guards. May ask where you got these? The desgin is quite..... interesting. Karin
  9. The following is true for belts from any maker: Remove any return edge cut at 45°
  10. I did not get a tube with mine. But I bought a finished one from TM with the correct diameter
  11. Get to it! But I actually think about making hand guards OUT of this sugru... Sugru.. sounds like a japaneses manga character
  12. Now,that is interesting. Sounds like a perfect material for my hand guards....
  13. Great bulid, but even greater title, lol!
  14. No worries! I hope you like them!
  15. Guess what? Every single package which was presumed "lost" showed up - Finally! But the record holder was the package to Italy - Almost 7 weeks! It would have been way fasterif I'd hired a carrier pidgeon. Thank you for all your patience! Karin
  16. Paul, concerning armor, there's NOTHING over the top
