  1. Collection looks superb. Really nicely presented. Nothing wrong with that. Many people, including me, do the same. It still requires skill to get the line neat and tidy. Great job.
  2. Cheers, Paul. Yeah, not as many as other, more established makers, but more and more as time progresses. That actually makes me wonder; out of curiosity, I wonder how many EIB and Centurion awards have been achieved with different armor makers? For example: MAKER EIB CENTURION X 50 3 Etc... 3. Thanks, Tino. I promise I’ll stop posting “I’ve finished my blaster” posts now. The ABS arms are quite smooth at the top so it shouldn’t present an issue if placed carefully. If I’m honest, I only really made the stand for taking photos. Not sure if I’ll display it between troops or not as yet. Good thinking, though. Thank you, as always, for your feedback.
  4. Cheers, guys. I’m so pleased it’s finally finished. And really pleased that I could adapt the mag itself, rather than messing about with the magazine well.
  5. Hi Team. As RWA is a vetted vendor, (and very popular here in the UK (and abroad)), would it be possible at this stage to update the list? Best wishes, Dan
  6. Looking good, Dave. Liking the new shape.
  7. Great news, D’Angelo! We’ll be on hand for any questions. And, if you haven’t already, don’t forget to get in touch with your local garrison. Best wishes, Dan
  8. Hi all, Well, the new mag is finished. In a nut shell; -finished sanding the top -corrected arrow (“OFF ->”) -prep for primer -metallic silver -hammer black on top/end plate only -Matt black top coat -cut down mag -shaved off some of mag to avoid modifying the mag well (allowing me to switch between mags, should I need to). -added magnets -weathered And, for now, that’s all she wrote. I think this blaster is finally finished. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hiya. Yes, I believe that’s how they’re described. As per the above pic, they look very similar to those Dave M ref pics. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi mate, I’d certainly have someone to protect you. I “met” my daughter and her friends (around 5 years old) at Christmas, and they can get a little excited... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hi guys, I’ve tried a couple of different methods for the stripes. Either a simple top and bottom mask with freehand lines between. Or: “Freehand look” ANH style templates. The ones pictured I sourced from Mike (Trooperbay). They are lovely and really look like the screen used ref pic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hehe - the beauty of our beloved, wonky, hand painted ANH TKs - they are all unique.
  13. Hi Jeff, Making good progress. :-) If you wanted to tidy up the outside of those black lines a little, a wooden toothpick can work wonders, (used gently). Although each lid can be slightly different, you could probably go a little thinner in the black, if you wanted too. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Cheers Greg. Just such a shame I forgot to put my arms in reach whilst kitting up. Don’t like seeing that popper loose at the back. Of course, at a troop a spotter or fellow trooper could have easily spotted and assisted with that. For me, the cat was the only one around at the time and he doesn’t help out much with things like this. ;-)
  15. After seeing some other cool videos today, I thought I’d stick this on here. I mentioned on another platform that I’d managed to get kitting up, solo, to under 10 minutes. Well, this prompted a challenge to make a video of kit up, kit down and box up. Although the GoPro didn’t like the artificial light, so apologies for the poor video quality, I did it and here is the result.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Have now, my friend. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I’m already waiting for Episode V - The Housework Strikes Back. ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Haha. Love it!! (FYI, I’m your 1st YouTube subscriber) [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hiya. Brien has given some really good pointers there. Just a couple of other little bits: - Imperial Cog logos should be removed from helmet - ears on helmet don’t appear to have screws holding them on. If this is intended as ANH style, screws would be required (I wonder if this is supposed to be a Rogue One helmet?!) - Your left bicep is upside down - check out other builds here on FISD for interior strapping options as this would hold things in the right places - belt looks very thin and has bunched up. This might need to be adjusted or replaced - thermal detonator appears to be the wrong colour - the front of your left thigh has been “scooped”. This is usually only done at the back of the thigh piece if increased mobility is required. Regarding the thigh ammo pack, please note that the fixings should in the RIDGE of the thigh, not into the side of the thigh itself. Out of interest, did you build it yourself or did it come assembled? Best wishes. Dan
  20. Many congrats, Trooper. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Nice work, Jesse. Now, I’m sure you saw this question coming, but, will you be rounding off the mag cap button? ;-) (Sorry! With the amazing work you’re putting into this, I had to ask)
  22. Those teasers are looking lovely! Can’t wait to see more.
