  1. I don't think they can. I wish I could test this for you, but my Fieldmarshall blaster magazine now houses electronics and doesn't come out anymore. I have both it and this evike mag and they are somewhat dissimilar. I'd buy the cutdown one from fieldmarshall tbh. I got it with my own E11 and it's lovely. Beautiful patina.
  2. Trim off the return edge on your butt plate (and cod if present) so that it's just flat plastic. You'll crack the butt plate from just crotch-strap pressure otherwise. With no return edge, there's no stress fracture waiting to happen. That Wolf Tactical belt is great. I've used it and recommended it to locals.
  3. I has a sad. Really wish you hadn't withdrawn, brother! Things were getting so close to done!
  4. After several years and a lot of experience in my TK armor, I'm also not sure I could do 10k. That's a huge accomplishment! I hope you get the next day off work to recover. Welcome to FISD!!!
  5. Looks fantastic!!! When you're dancing in armor you know the finish line is near.
  6. I hate to call a company out as I'm sure they really tried when making it, but the Master Replica has quite a few inaccuracies that even casual TK fans can see. The bolt is incorrect, there's no charging handle, the slot in the rear barrel is not even cut out and there's no inner coil spring... not that you could see it without the slot opening. And you already noticed the missing counter and power cylinders In my somewhat humble opinion, the Blaster Factory E11 is the finest one you can just buy with your money. Yes, it's mostly aluminum (all parts that should be plastic ARE in fact plastic), but it's extremely strong. All of the parts are VERY accurate. The folding stock is ever so slightly flimsy, but if you really want to, you can bolt an original Stirling folding stock right up to the BF E-11 and it fits. My own example has this mod. My own example has also been stripped down completely and built back up at least 50 times as I hacked it up to fit a BlastFX kit inside. No screws have stripped nor parts become flimsy. It's an incredibly well machined replica prop. You can get an M38 or an M19 scope replica from them. Both feature brass end fittings for lovely paint scraped weathering action and both are hollow. They just lack the internal mirrors to make the scope actually work. The machining on the BF scopes is lovely. Everything is dead on accurate. The scope rail they provide is great as well. The replica Hengstler counter that BF makes is also fantastic. The only part that lets it down slightly are the numbers. They're not quite accurate and stick out a bit compared to an original. The rest of the counter is incredible though, even the replica (I think it's a replica) coil they've produced. Just lovely and easy to fill with electronics if that's your thing. The power cylinders that BF sells are THE FINEST. IN. THE. WORLD. Seriously, you cannot easily get a better replica. Check out the obsessive detail on Chris' (the owner's) youtube channel. They also sell cut down vintage magazines. As I alluded to, you can indeed build or make a better replica than you can just buy from Blaster Factory, but it takes a lot of work. You could NOT easily turn the Master Replica into a better prop. You'd also destroy "the value" of that MR blaster in the process.
  7. The escort gun appears to be missing the starboard/opposite lower T-track as well. Light couldn't shine through those front lower holes otherwise.
  8. The descriptions make it sound like these guns were completely rebuilt. Chances of figuring out which they were on screen is likely zero since they were completely stripped before being returned to Bapty. From the first blaster: and from the second: To me it sounds like rebuilds. Not that it makes these any less awesome, just that it would likely render them not traceable to screen captures. And all that said, HOLY HECK THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! I dearly love seeing this kind of thing. Thanks for posting Glen!
  9. @justjoseph63 might have something for you. I don't wanna speak for him, but I know a project was in the works a while back.
  10. I'll die on that hill with ya Justin. New Mexico is not a place for rubber gloves IMHO. I've used these nomex pilot's gloves for each and every one of my troops and have the rubber ones in storage for Centurion photos. They've held up very well and I'm on my 2nd pair. The first got changed out at about 50 troops. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071D5PZHQ The touch screen fingertips aren't great. I use some junk called AnyGlove to make the fingertips work on my phone for selfies. It's black paint/goo that feels very similar to skin when you (or your phone) touch it. A bottle does about 10 pairs. https://www.amazon.com/AnyGlove-Touchscreen-Compatible-Motorcycle-Snowboarding/dp/B095VF6QFW I've found I need to reapply the AnyGlove after about 5 glove washes. It's very easy to reapply. It dries in about an hour on reapplication and in about 3 hours the first time. If you apply it in the evening, you can troop the next morning. OH, and I see Mario linked to these same gloves!!! Nice.
  11. Absolutely not. This is one thing I never intend to do to another blaster. Literal months of pain with those tiny wires and trying to shoehorn the guts into odd places. If I ever need another one, I'm just gonna commission BlastFX / TRamp to do it. It would be worth the time waiting and money spent.
  12. It's been a long time, but I finally have a "finished" blaster including BlastFX. I did a quick video. I'll take some pretty pix of it in the next few days, after I'm done running around and pew-pewing everything in my house!
  13. (whilst looking for memes to commemorate it, I found this one and cry-laughed) THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Excellent choices! Truly the perfect E-11 is having a couple to choose from.
  15. No one can tell I'm blushing thanks to my bucket. One thing I forgot to mention - this high school was apparently the Lenora Hills HS in Stranger Things s4. The courtyard is a place that gets touring groups through fairly regularly. The lady that requested us wanted to make sure we got out pix in front of the mural. I popped a screenshot over one of our group pix. I'm a fan of the show and have seen season 4, but I didn't remember the school at all. Guess it didn't make an impression on me. Still a fun trooping souvenir pic.
  16. 8/11/23 - Eldorado High School Senior Sunrise 71st TK troop, 26th for 2023. This was a troop for a senior year kickoff at an Albuquerque school. Six of us answered the call. Well, 6.5? My trusty TK9 unit was at my side the whole morning. She may not be an approved trooping accessory, but the kids LOVED Mabel with her little rider. In fact, why not share some cute puppy pix now? I'd never trooped a high school before. Elementary kids LOVE seeing troopers. Middle schoolers would prefer to not live on the same planet as us. I was worried about the HS kids. I thought maybe a cute puppy might grease the wheels. Plus, I had to get up at 4:15 in the morning. Mabel wouldn't get her morning walk otherwise. It was a great time. The seniors were fantastic. Happy to have us there and VERY happy to pet the tiny attack Dewback. After sunrise, we were free to play. We thought a little baseball practice might be just the thing. I was pretty proud of this shot of Brandon and Chuck getting a few hits in. And then I got the finest troop selfie I've ever shot. There's no improving on this one.
  17. Furthermore, he goes onto say that the Vader bucket in the glass case is from ANH *and* ESB. I'm not the king of Vader trivia, but I know the two buckets have many differences, not least among them being the actual finish on the plastic. I don't believe the ANH bucket was ever used on screen in ESB, though I could be mistaken. I would think an ANH Vader scene would stick out like a sore thumb.
  18. Glen hammered the nail in with the shoulder bells. That one has a set that's nowhere near the neighborhood of screen accurate. They're far too petite. The armor is also incredibly evenly white. Since it would be white paint over that green fish pond poly material, I really REALLY don't think it would look as evenly white. Even if repainted periodically (shudder), it would look different shades of white.
  19. I was juuuust thinking about how badly I need to get some clips and get that into action!
  20. WOW!!! These are fantastic! Congrats on five troops Bart!!!!!!! I've been too busy to visit forums much lately, but it was fantastic to get all of these in one go. Also, that Obiwan is AMAZING. Seriously... just perfection. Like stunt double perfection.
  21. That looks really fantastic!! Who's the maker? Apology if I missed it in a past post.
