  1. And good to be back, and yepp that`s correct
  2. And now the brackets on the rear pieces are done, time to call it a night
  3. After some R&R (man-flu) I’m back at it again, not at a massive speed but picking away and enjoying the build rather than in a hurry to get it done, trimmed the torso and drilled a few holes and put some elastic in
  4. You could try upload your pics using Imgur - free and easy to use looking forward seeing your suit and I’m actually working on my RS this very moment
  5. In short: no No need to worry - we all want you to look your best and to have a great time becoming an awesome looking Stormtrooper - the more the merrier
  6. Hey Jared, looking forward seeing your build
  7. Looking good Trooper What I noticed was the gap between forearms and handguards on the second pic but on all the others the gap was spot on so maybe they just needed to "drop in place" and whilst on the forearms then there`s some minor cleaning up to do on the wrist ends, can`t be any return left. Best of luck (RS suit for reference)
  8. Shipping took a while but that’s not on Anovos who came thru this time
  9. Yeey happy BBB-day! Looking forward seeing your build, lots of troopers here with your height that have done great with their build and I know they will assist you every step if the way in the meantime, if you can pull yourself from watching that great set of armor that is I recommend you look in the ANH builds for some great reference om how to trim for size - chricket, fragarock and gwithian all did great in trimning for size
  10. If it works for you then I would leave it as is, the neck seal will help with some discomfort as well, otherwise you have 2 options: 1# cutting the neckline 2# lowering the chest. As long as you can fit the shoulders in the right location it`s only a plus to have shorter elastics making them less likely to get pulled out by shoulder bells. I´d say trim from the kidney only and there`s no need for a notch unless you really want one. However you don`t have to trim, looks pretty good as is but I agree it would look even better on you with a tighter fit. Keep up the good work
  11. In the end of the day it`s about beeing a Stormtrooper and putting smiles to faces, how one go about it is up to each and everyone to decide for themselves, some like the building aspect and some rather buy a comission. Kudos though for not taking kudos for someone elses work Best of luck with your approval but as I said - it`s a slam dunk
  12. Hey everyone I´m Daniel and I started my journey to the 501st on a slightly darker path (as a Shadowtrooper) but since then I have built two more suits, a Hero and a Stunt with armor from Troopermaster (greeaaat armor). Curently building a Sandtrooper to meet SWAT level with an RS kit (L3 on MEPD). And....waiting on some FOTK armor and as a fellow trooper called it: I have lost it! Totally bitten by the armorbuilding bug - and most imortantly - the "bad guys doing good" part, I have only done 3 troops thus far but seeing the joy in childrens eyes (and adults) when they see you is awesome and my very first troop raised 2400US to Childrens cancer fund. Some pics of me in armor: Stunt: Hero: on the right Shadow: Just for fun
  13. Whoo! Best of luck Tony, I see a EIB badge with your name on it
  14. Me neither but I don`t care much for the promo trooper (such a silly gun for a Stromtrooper) maybe it`s made to look like Han in disguize with his rebel gun....ah well....just recived word that my canteen is in the mail, super-fast by m4vrick (Vincent) at MEPD Gonna look great on the field pack Also ordered the pouches from blaster 8266 (also MEPD) the other day, always a step behind
  15. Nice progress Just noticed that you smaller ab button plate is a tad to big, it should look something like this with no return edge.
  16. Hey Dave - nice looking RS suit and as others have stated basic approval is a slam-dunk And I think you are right to fix the ab buttons and shoulders, althoug the general public would never notice it looks so much better I do have a question about the shims, do you even need them?
  17. Oh oh I know I know!! Excellent work on the helmet so far
  18. Naah, yours is just as good although I am missing a fully displayed TK, I’m sure you can squeeze it in there somewere
  19. Wow! That’s awesome! Just perfect I have a plan for how to display mine more properly as well but that’s a ”slow-burner”
  20. Sorry to hear...if you haven’t already, watch ANH, ESB and ROTJ and that might help in getting you back at full swing..oh, and R1 as I know you liked it from the crystal pack buildthread
  21. I ordered these ones as well - they look awesome well actually I sent him a PM 30min ago so don’t have them yet
