  1. Here you go ---------
  2. Or just use pop rivets as per original
  3. Hi Although I’m no longer on the team I can say that you don’t need to be a Centurion to Troop. You should already be approved by your GML.
  4. Tecnically yes. Depending on going for L2/L3 you will need the exterior snaps and rivets but they don’t need to be functional. Not too sure magnets will hold up though.
  5. Congratulations and welcome to the Legion Trooper
  6. Hi I have a few suggestions to make but I’m on my phone and need my PC to draw up some pics to help show what I mean. I’ll do that when I get home from work, unless someone else gives the same advise in the meantime. The way I see it you can trim more in the front in order to get the coverstrips closer to the 20mm mark (it would help to know how much of the flat area you have right now) by having a gap in the rear and by trimming the thighs with a taper. I’ll also show how to alligne the thighs at the bottom. Unless someone beats me too it
  7. Nice work Just a little heads up that if the tabs are seen between the parts they need to be black.
  8. Ah, all good then And as for the shape, the forearms are meant to be more oval. Just like the actuall forearm itself- as you were Trooper
  9. They want you to cut the hand guards in half? A couple of things I noticed: 1. The 5mm shoulder bridge elastic is showing a bit so might want to tuck that in. 2. The left shin is riding over the boot at the heel. 3. Did you get another set of forearms? They look a bit big. Overall very nice work Trooper
  10. Looking forward seeing it! As it happens I will be the one doing the approval as the new GML in our Garrison
  11. I get it’s important the look at the lighter side of things but perhaps not the best joke as people are dying as of right now. Thanks for understanding.
  12. As long as you paint the inside and rim white you are good to go for Centurion
  13. Twist your arm (and forearm piece) so palm is up and then bend your arm, that way the swoop get in a better position. I wouldn’t trim the forearms is I were you. That is normal, moving in a TK takes some getting used to Here’s a few videos that might help you get an Idea on fit. First one is yours truly and the other Dan, Cableguy on here.
  14. Hi again Ardeshir and thank you for your HWT Centurion application - let´s get to it! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements All required photos are in and, after review, we are pleased to welcome you to Centurion Nr 3!!! On behalf of the DO team and myself, many congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly In this area we discuss areas that could benefit from additional improvement. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. You have done great work on your armor and we have absolutely nothing to add Well done Sir
  15. How shoulder bells idealy is trimmed. The left is what to aim for, bell from the Lucas archives and the right is a shepperton with a straight edge. On my phone so it was the best pic I had at the moment. I suggest you leave atleast a slightly return as it add to the feel of actuall armor. The armor is not designed for comfort or to have a great range of motion, I think you look great.
  16. Not sure what you mean? Eyes look fine to me For back of shins they should be 25mm, did you perhaps get them mixed up?
  17. The ear-thing was just a suggestion so no work needed on that unless you feel it´s someting you decide to do for yourself, nothing needed to reach Centurion The honor is ours Ardeshir and I look forward to review your Centurion application
  18. Hi again Ardeshir and thank you for your EIB application. In this review I will ensure that your armor follows the requirements set out in the CRL L2 Expert Infantry Badge and also point out what I can to prepare you for Centurion, should you choose to apply. I hope you do! Let´s get started shall we! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted and I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for HWT Expert Infantry. On behalf of myself and the entire D.O.Team, Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions As we navigate through this review we are going to start from the top and work our way down. We only havea few things to mention here and first is to see if you can even out the position of the ears by moving the left back a tad to mirror the right, this is a computer generated Trooper after all and should be symetrical, unlike some other crappy ANH Troopers with bits all over the place Next up is a simple dressing issue, making sure the ridges line up. Lastly is just a mention to perhaps scuff up the ammo pouches, it´s not something mentioned in the CRL or seen in visual reference but it seem logical to have them match the armor - the choice is yours Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustment etc. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Below you will find areas that will need to be adressed for a future succesfull Centurion Application. Only two things to mention here and first is to have the pouch hanging more straigt as seen in the reference material. Next we have the gap in the thigh were we suggest some abs paste for a prestine look. And that´s it! You really took the suggestions to heart and now you have an outstanding HWT
  19. Of course he should And hey Thomas, regarding your questions: For basic you can use velcro but if nicely curved they stay pretty much consistent were they should, Another option would be to use some 5mm white elastic as per Movie suits (se below) Not really as the suit looks better when proportioned and not to small, if it´s big on you I would suggest some strategic padding instead. I guess we´ll see how it looks when you have the torso on what the best plan of attack should be
  20. Gaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!! I can´t belive you just said that...I mean wrote that but you know…….aaahhhh…...you´re not worthy….you´re not wor….Oh wait. your Trooper does not carry a pack - all good - move along move along.
  21. Hey Ardeshir Just letting you know I’m starting the review
