  1. Congratulations Dave and welcome Trooper
  2. Way to go! Never used E6000 so can`t answer that one though, I´m sure someone else will
  3. True but a GML must follow the CRL - not make their own standard and cover strip sizes are not regulated per the CRL. @willeywonka Keep it close to canon size and you`re good. No harm in contacting your GML though.
  4. Actually...you can go bigger than 15 if you need to and it won`t effect any level of aproval. Try to avoid bigger than 20 though as it won`t looks as good. If you can keep 15 in the front and 17-20 in the back then that would work to. My choice however would be to keep the sizes consistent though, front/back for example 18/18. The key is to keep the cover strips as close to Canon (screen accurate) as possible.
  5. Make a post in the TK-pre-approval section
  6. You send it to your local GML (garrison membership liasson) and the pics are: front/back/left side/right side - all with arms down and a front with bucket of
  7. You’re looking great Dave now get those submission pics in! Edit: after closer inspection some cover strips seem a tad long so you might wanna sand those down a bit - easy fix
  8. I know the feeling - looking forward to welcome you to the rank of Stormtroopers
  9. Idealy they all butt-up. Ones you install the brackets it will fit right, the RS suit is cast from a movie suit so you can`t go wrong there - here`s how you will look
  10. Looks great 1st green light - check
  11. It’s posted were it should (given you are doing ANH TK that is) and welcome
  12. Wohoo! Congratulations Tony
  13. Welcome Trooper
  14. No problem, just wasn`t sure what you meant. Hero-suit Centurion-app Front Back Stunt-suit Centurion-app Front Back And the Shadow (back)
  15. Do you mean screen grabs or of my kits?
  16. Not all kits, after a close inspection with a ruler on my two different armor makes the rear bump is in fact a few mm bigger than the rest (front bump aside). That little difference will be very hard to spot on screen but atleast (what I think) we will see that the front and back are not the same size. For the record I did not modify my shoulder bridges besides trimming the sides.
  17. Just have to respond that it´s not just a different GML, as for me I have had my shoulder bridges up for Centurion-inspection twice and no issue.
  18. Thanks for clarifying and that`s why I said "for screen accuracy" but I guess I should have been clearer. Could not agree more but still won`t make this suggestion untill it`s resolved and I´m still astounded by the fact that GML:s are denying applicants for it.
  19. True, but they are visible on the CRL model and the chest plate. The rear big bump is not seen or mentioned at all in the CRL so I find it strange that a GML would deny a application for not having the "bump". I have two Centurion suits and a shadowtrooper without it and never had an issue with approval. And for what it`s worth, my TM kits came without having it and so did the Anovos shadow. But...you are the DL so I won`t mention this suggestion again.
  20. Not allowed were? All the CRL says is this: For 501st approval: These shall be securely mounted in front and may free float in back. They may be affixed with rivets, Velcro, or adhesive.
  21. I´m not sure I follow?
  22. I would say loose the big bump in the back - screen accurate is the way to go
