  1. Looks great however I still want a helmet with the crossed blasters.
  2. Best of luck on your build and your back-up plan dosen’t sound to bad either sure you won’t need it though
  3. Excellent work yet again I like the "hook-elastic" as per movie but you can`t beat that sleek closure
  4. Congratulations on a great kit, RS is cast from an original suit so it should be impressive - best of luck with your build (now I want a RS kit...oh the rabbit hole that is Stormtrooper armor...well, you can`t have to many right..)
  5. Thanks Christine Thanks Greg and yeah I highly recommend it, both to see how it all fits and also for the pure fun in seeing yourself as a Stormtrooper
  6. Congratulations Greg - well done and buckets of to you (I imagine that’s how happy you look)
  7. Thanks, was really fun to do and to watch - seeing how it all fits when walking and was planning on doing some talking but the phone switched of..oh well there’s always next time and yes on the Terminator
  8. But....it doesn`t look as good so I would avoid that unless absolutely necessary
  9. Center the cover strip over the seem and you are good to go And so there`s no confusion, the cover strip ends above the raised edges (see RS suit for reference) so the gaps at the bottom thighs will still be visible and my advice is to glue some scrap abs on the inside and abs-paste from the outside and sand it smooth in order to make your suit look its best
  10. No, if you need a bigger than the Canon width of 20 that`s ok - for all levels of approval....I would however try and avoid going bigger than 25 though. Here`s how I did: I trimmed the rough edges of the thighs and using tape overlaped the front so the raised edges were 20mm, then butted up the the back (also rough trimmed, only removing the flashing) and taped that up, sliding the thighs on (with undersuit), checked the fit and needed to go bigger so ended up with a 22mm coverstrip (front and back, I wanted the strips to match), also trimed as much that I could from the upper return edge, more from the inner part than the outer to maintain the illusion of thickness. I maxed out on my thighs so the back has a gap at the top so to strenghten the joint I used a small inner strip at the top. The Anovos suit has pre-cut (at least my shadow did) strips so that makes things more challenging, idealy the strip hides the raised edge but there`s room to "cheat" a little meaning it`s fine even though if a few mm is showing - keep going Fredrik, you`ll get there in the end RS suit for reference
  11. I am an Imperial Stormtrooper and I would not hesitate to sacrifice myself in order to save my brother (play Imperial march for effect)
  12. Tell her there can`t be victory without sacrifice (not sure that would help though)
  13. Congratulations and welcome to the Legion Trooper
  14. It looks good and like Tony said you don`t really need to fix anything unless it bugs you, and...as you say it will pain you to alter the canon strapping I say leave it as it is, you have the mobility needed and as I said earlier, you can alwas change it at a later date after some "test-runs"
  15. Mobility and TK-armor doesn’t go well together so by the sounds if it you got it as good as it gets...you could always trim some more at the neck for more comfort but as you say standing strait is fine I would leave it for now, can always come back and trim more after a troop or two....walking and putting on/removing the helmet on your own is a good reference point to have
