Buckets off

I found the TrooperBay red pauldron along with Rustoleum Satin Enamel "Heritage Red" were pretty close!
-
I recently did a TFU incinerator with the "Red" pauldron color from Trooperbay and the Rust-oleum "Heritage Red" satin protective enamel spray paint and they were fairly close to each other:

Yeah it would be 501st GML approved basic as well as Detachment approved for the higher levels.

I second eBay and making sure to take a good look at the seller prior to purchase. I've bought 2 off there and they have been perfect. -
IcyTrooper's Incinerator Trooper (TFU)
IcyTrooper replied to IcyTrooper's topic in Incinerator Trooper
Thanks all! -
Hey all! Decided to do an Incinerator Trooper from TFU since I had a spare Anovos kit laying around. I should have probably did a build thread but I have some shots from the process masking and painting at least. I'll put some info for others for some things at the end. Armor: Anovos Pauldron: Trooperbay MP40 Large Pouch: Trooperbay Small Pouch: Trooperbay [Death Trooper pouch] Gloves: Amazon [Generic Nomex, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0089QIDK6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1] Boots: Imperial Boots "421" Armor Rubber Trim: Amazon [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BGSZ411/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1] Paint: Rustoleum Satin Enamel "Heritage Red" [for armor flashing/marking] and Rustoleum Flat Enamel "Smoke Gray" [drop boxes] Painter Tape: Scotch blue original [general coverage for paint overspray prevention] Painter Tape: FrogTape multi-surface [for creating sharp paint lines] If you have any questions let me know! I'll be working on the flamethrower as well.

TK Shock - getting started
IcyTrooper replied to kwac94's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Hiya friend (from the Spec Ops forum as well), I think that you may be getting the 501st CRL basic requirements and the detachment higher levels (L2 & L3) confused. From the looks of it, they allow more than just ROTJ for greater inclusion and for the accuracy push to the detachment level for higher level. I've noticed that with the MEPD Magma Trooper (Battlefront) as well, which is nice. Correct me if I'm wrong though! As long as you satisfy the basic requirements I wouldn't see any issues with the direction you are going with it. Who made the armor that is in the pics? You may try Walt's Trooper Factory for some of the ROTJ parts if you are going that route. -
Request to Change HWT Model Picture

I'd do it, but I'm not centurion. -
I like the latest round above (on page 2)!

Good to see! Also great to see all of the suggestions in here for those in the future since it seems we've had a wide variety of cleaners and solutions used to test.

MIMBAN TK CRL/Research Discussion thread.

^ that's what I've thought too. -
@mikidymac that is a good tip! I will keep that in mind for future CA glue use. I literally only wanted to use the CA glue for the thighs since they are harder to get done like I did with my TK and made a mess haha... I'm most likely just going to pretend that it is dirt/grime and/or battle damage because trying to wet sand it off with high grit sandpaper and compound isn't working too well. I have Novus 3 that I haven't put on there yet. Luckily most of this stuff is on the back so it isn't a huge deal.

Heck yeah we would! I've been told my HWT is too clean for MEPD haha
