Hi, I did make it myself. Just a basic 1" wide elastic strap, attached to the ear bolts inside.
I've since added more padding to front and rear, which hold the helmet in place just as well as the strap.
There are some 'missions' with not a lot of depth (training, survival mode etc), but the skirmish mode allows you to play a full scale battle made up with bots. Player chooses skill level of bots. It's a good way to learn the ropes and try out things like AT-AT gunner, AT-ST, etc, which human players normally pounce on immediately.
Yeh any light oil is good for taking gloop off. Spray on, leave for a minute, wipe off. That's some heavy modification - can't wait to see the finished outfit! Are you on the uk garrison forum btw?
Thanks Yep, a couple of minor dressing issues, but tbh I've seen twisted dropboxes, misaligned armour, etc, in the game, so it's all accurate
The lense issue I will leave until they eventually fall out naturally
You also might find my list of 'Things to do', to get one of their outfits 501st-ready useful. Here:

Fantastic! Much thanks to yourself, Sly, Eric and Tim (and anyone else involved behind the scenes), who helped out along the way Hopefully we'll see a few more shock troopers come through the ranks (Love the FISD kudos under my name BTW )
Thanks Tony. I cornered my daughter when she came home from school. Told her this was vital work for her photography course
Anyway, i've added a couple of DLT-19 action shots and fixed the shoulder bell issue, I hope
Hi, the E-11 is ANH, which was OK for initial approval. I'll use the DLT for this stage.I'll get a couple of pics up soon.
How is the outfit itself looking?
I've always found that hot glue eventually separates from a flat surface, especially a surface that flexes. For example, the anchor points in the helmet for the harness were hot-glued, but didn't last long. It's now stuck there with velcro.
