1. Same here, but seems to be fixed now? (Testing )
2. Took us many years before we moved in to a house complete with garage a couple of years ago. Of course, it will never have a car in it Oh no. I'm slowly but surely turning it into my cave. My TK workshop, where nobody complains about the smell of glue or paint
3. Thanks! Yep, it has pride of place in my mancave
4. Thanks Tried a bit of light weathering last night:
5. OK, apologies for doing the EIB thread a bit piecemeal... Hopefully I have put up all the required images now?
6. Closer image of knee ammo / sniper plate details:
7. Doopys were in stock earlier. (Still are!)
8. Pop it in the freezer overnight if you're going to split it in half.
9. Yeh, that looks alright. Would be a pain if you also wanted the option of speaking, though? I reckon a short section of clear tubing would work the same, at a fraction of the cost. Also, you really want something easy to clean or even disposable, to stop any bacterial growth.
10. Thanks! I'm itching to get the blaster (shouldn't be long now!) so the approval can proceed

12. I'd thought about that but considered it was complex? I'll take a look Thanks.
13. Been sitting here for about 10 minutes, perusing the web, watching crud on TV, breathing through my 5 drinking straws...

Perfectly comfortable

I reckon this could be worth a go.
14. Aaw yeh, forgot I had bendy straws!
15. Interesting stuff!Must admit, I was going to use maybe 1/2" tubing, fixed with velcro and positioned in such a way that it can be pushed out of the way to speak or whatever. I really don't want to overthink it If it works, great, if not, no loss.
16. It's really just for indoor gigs. The weekend one got fairly busy. More bodies, more moist air, less airflow etc. Outside in Scotland isn't a problem. On the two rain-free days we get a year
17. Yeh, but the fan really just circulated the warm, humid air around the helmet, so I was still re-breathing the same air most of the time. Gonna get me some clear tubing
18. No, me neither! It just sounds too simple, no?
19. Had my first outing in my Battlefront Shock Trooper this weekend. Despite having a fan fitted in the helmet, the fact that the frown is filled-in means there is less than normal airflow, causing really stifling conditions. So I was thinking of fitting a small flexible tube, venting to the underside of the helmet, with a mesh cap so I don't inhale flies (!), which I can use to breathe through. It won't be visible outside, but I'm thinking that at least it would keep moist air out of the helmet and allow me to breathe fresh air. Anyone tried this?
20. I always think a minimal approach to weathering looks best - just a few hints of silver dry-brushing on the heavy wear areas gives it a more authentic steel look about it IMO.
21. Thighs are the first bit of armour I put on. Just pull over the feet, then they get attached to the belt/garter and just hang there whilst you get everything else on.
22. The problem is the beer or the quitting of the beer? Lay off it for 2 weeks at least and you'll notice a big difference in... 'Girth'.
